Given that one well placed torpedo could effectively blow a hole in a ship, I think it's pretty good.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Still, It wont be effective if I say "Fire everything we got" and all I had was 12 torpedos

You can have other weapons...

And a barrage could prove effective in different situations.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

If you really want to go all out then I guess making the entire outer hull of the ship into a humongous Polaric Graviton Array would allow for unrivaled speed and firepower.

And by unrivaled I mean that you possibly could fly unscathed through a black hole or re-explode it into a star.

How bad would it be if I asked Xinea terminated and a new character (of my creation of course) takes her place?

Lynx, are you forgetting who you're with? Given a few sessions and a few hundred kT I could turn you into a bionic superhuman.

Eh heh heh heh heh. I don't like that idea. Then the Terrans could use me as a war weapon (I have little trust for the TFed anyway).

Won't a emotionally stable, humanoid (human-avian?) experiment of unkown origion but the TFed decides not to imediatly terminate person sound better? And she can be an awsome captain, shoot people, and be a bounty hunter/mercinary

Xinea is emotionally stable, she only screamed and cried because she was hurt and being attacked. Any person would begin screaming if they were being maimed.

I'm not talking about messing with your brain in any way that would make you a slave soldier, though maybe improve on it to reduce your reaction time and make it more adept at quick and advanced thinking (a good thing if you're going for a moving target). Other than that I am thinking on improving your ocular implants, giving you super strength, flight is a possibility, as is rapid healing.

I don't think the TFED or people really like bionic people that much.

When I asked Archi about my bionic legs he said that people viewed it as disgusting.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

<_< I still don't like the fact I'm going cyborg. What's next? Me becoming the worlds most evil golfing cyborg? (My brother really needs to lay off the Kim Possible for awhile)

Next thing I'll know is someone getting ahold of my DNA and turning that into something else (like a strawberry).

Extracting Strawberry DNA is the most desgusting and smelliest thing I have ever done (it looks like mucus, ICK!)

You can regen your character if you want.

Since there will be more changes (doubtlessly) over the next week, people can regen their characters, investments, anything they want.

Not starting a totally new game, just making mechanics changes.

And Nex, why not serve Ravenna? I would assume Paul and Wyvern would be willing to negotiate some sort of a deal with you.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Icu, that could be because bionics is transplanting with robotic technology. It's disgusting work, you wouldn't want to look at a guy get an organ or limb transplant, but you think no less of either patient or surgeon afterwards. Then there's the disgust some people have against the thought that part of their body is actually dead, the thought of giving someone a robotic heart or ear could seem grotesque for instance, but its just the next generation of pacemakers and hearing aids.

I'll just keep playing Xinea untill she perma-dies. Saves me the trouble of thinkin WTH to do with Xinea.

I think in the age this game is set, bionic or false organs or stuff like that have been around for centuries.. People just don't like it in the Terran empire.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Thats too easy. I'll stick with Xinea untill something happens to her (like Chi epically failing and accidently causing her death or an overdose of some asprin that kills her. Damnit I watch way to much Red vs Blue)

What is it with people insisting taking the easy way out? Faust wipes Lee's memories= easy. Xinea somehow managing to blend in with the average life of colonial peoples= easy if she had fake human skin on her leg and humanish looking eyeballs.

And what would that be? The fact I'm still partialy human?

No, the fact that we became a couple last session.

Simple

Xinea gets a change of heart because she feels like a monster from the experiments you have done on her. She tries to live as much as a 'normal' human as possible and gives up a life of space life to just enjoy the colony, like a normal person would.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

So far, you're the only one to have done something to her, however last session I asked her whether she'd be ok with getting bionic improvements.

Ico, that is still too easy.

Mather, you do realize it was only a suggestive move right? You could've said "Screw you" and just have left it at that. And why did you accept that anyway?
