I burnt myself once by resting my arm on a very hot cookie sheet of fries. That hurt very badly, not to mention the audiance there who saw the mark afterwards.

I saw the ultimatum. I'm sticking on the Ravenna Colony, unless there is soemthing that forces me out.

I don't think it'd be a good idea to leave me with a vendetta against the entire pirate community and hatred of the TFed for not being quicker.

You could have an unhealthy relationship. After spending your first night together, both of you are found dead with plastic bags over your heads.

You don't have to have a vendetta or a hatetred, Mather. I just want to leave a mark on the hearts of many of the TFed. Besides, its a race against time, those sometimes end in tragedy.

*facepalm* Real life events arn't really supposed to affect (or is it effect?) in game events. My characters are just created in two seconds and I come up with unique ideas for them (its like they have their own unique DNA)

If you really want to go all out then I guess making the entire outer hull of the ship into a humongous Polaric Graviton Array would allow for unrivaled speed and firepower.

And by unrivaled I mean that you possibly could fly unscathed through a black hole or re-explode it into a star.

And Nex, why not serve Ravenna? I would assume Paul and Wyvern would be willing to negotiate some sort of a deal with you.

Sounds nice. Errand boy suits me. Having Ravenna as patrons might help the Spacers give up on me for a little while as well. I might visit them, what is the age of free choice or whatever for the Brits, and how many in-game months until then? :D

 

It also might be nice to just set all my resources back to kT, except perhaps the Bore Mines.

I don't remember the ocerina incident.....And Nex, I don't insult peoples heritage. Mainly because I'm part everything IRL anyway. And I believe that is also called racisim.

Actually, Archi, is it possible to obtain firing rights from Ravenna to eliminate the 'potential threat to colony safety and security' that is Chi's bunker from orbit? Deaths for Chi and Xinea, and no worries about whatever explosives Chi happens to be packing!

 

Also, another thing I'd like to change so long as we're making changes... Could I have enlisted for a contract with the Terran, though civil, Ravennans, instead of running away? Running away like that was stupid and made me sad. :(

 

Basically I just want to start over without killing Gerere... I was playing him too much like Peri, who I played too much like Faust... I'm thinking I'll just leave SUE to find Faust and such as a friend and ally, rather than a character element.

I would help Nex, but being pirates means I can't :P.

The main reason I haven't shown up for too many sessions is that you guys haven't created any major trouble for me to help fix, and the few situations I DO get mixed up in end up being "everyone's blowing [cabbage] up in the medbay, run for your lives!" which results in a dozen actions of "DERP HEAL RANDOM PEOPLE". The other reason I don't show up for session is IRL, and that can't be helped.

Ok...How about this. Tommorow's session is devoted entirely to fixing all the problems currently going on?

 

I want to get this running properly, so lets sort out some things:

 

1) Do we want the big bad Terran Empire looking over out shoulder, or would we prefer to be out there, living life on the edge.

2) What is the max number of groups allowed? (Personally 2 seems best, 1 for colony work, 1 for space work)

3) Does the economic system need fixing?

4) Any other issues?

Having defined teams seems like the original plan, where we were going to have colonial, research, and combat/defense teams. We could probably still have colonial and research, and the combat team could be Nero's pirates.
