Lynx, we always want everyone to enjoy themselves.

If you can't make it then you aren't going to enjoy it.

 

Ergo, if there is an option to avoid you not enjoying yourself, we want to take it.

Wait, why not a Saturday session?.. Or we could jsut do it now. Actually, I'm more up to doing it now.

Well, I wasn't at the end of the session, Mather. I kicked myself off the computer and then promptly kneed my parents footboard on their bed, causing a brand spankin new bruise to form.

 

And Battle: Los Angeles is a terrible movie. "C4 doesn't create a fireball like that." "Oh, then they must've used coffee creamer!"

 

 

 

 

ALSO: Archi, I may not be able to attend Friday's session/ I might not stay on for long because I'm going out for dinner to celibrate the end of a good school year (Finnally!). AAAAANNNNNDDDDD I may be late on next mondat because I is going to the Science Museum in Massachusetts! (For the second time this year)

With the trade dispute finally settled, life in the universe moves on.

The new neutral zone, in which no shipboard weapons, has, unfortunately, created a wealth of opportunity for privateers. While the Russians and Terrans argue and block any attempt, by either side, to send more patrol ships into the zone, hundreds are captured and sold into slavery daily.

 

On Mars the situation is becoming increasingly desperate, as more and more people starve. Not helped by strange rumours of humanoids with large floppy ears carrying anyway the dead, with some of the more extreme rumours saying that the humanoids even feast on the dead in public.

Even more rumours abound that both the Terrans and Russians have captured the strange creatures for autopsy, though neither side will confirm this.

 

Meanwhile, on Fuller Station, Tauros and Lynx continue to be imprisoned. Their trial has found them guilty, since no additional evidence was given in their defence, and several dead cats were found in Lynx's room.

Further allegations were then filed against Tauros after he irradiated the prisoner wing, but managed to incapacitate his accomplice, Lynx, preventing escape.

Both have been schedualed for transfer to an undisclosed location.

Tauros has already left, in a lead lined box, in a powered down state, while Lynx has been left behind to recieve medical assistance for radiation injuries.

Tauros and Mask Mission:

Several months have past for Mask and Tauros in the virtual reality hell they have found themselves in.

Room after room after room of lateral thinking puzzles, sometimes real, sometimes virtual...sometimes they just didn't know.

Another day has dawned...The room is dark, Tauros is off and without power. Mask is in some sort of advanced bio-harness, his skin is [puncture]led with probes and inputs.

 

Everything seems deactivated.

 

Objectives:

1) Escape your immediate prisons (1 Merit)

2) Destroy this facility (2 Merits)

3) Take control of this facility (5 Merits)

4) Hack the facility's files for your mother country (2 Merits)

5) Secret Objective (3 Merits)

6) Destroy any and all enemies (5 merits)

 

Failure Criteria:

1) Death (-1 Merit, multiple)

2) Recapture (-2 Merits)

3) Failure to uncover what is going on (-2 Merits)

4) Death of comrade (-1 Merit, multiple)

5) Comrade is still on Earth at the end of the session (-2 Merits)

 

 

Everyone else:

The second month of the netural zone has seen several armed engagements between Terrans and Pirates and Pirates and Russians... war has been all but declared.

For the crew of the Unity this has meant an increase in arms trade, but a decrease in stability...(upgrades are half price, but everyone loses 3 merits before the session starts)

Commander O'Donald has ordered the evacuation of Fuller Station in preperation for the war, with all Civilians going to Earth, while UN employees(You guys) sent to Mars for the last ditch negotiation attempts.

 

Drake, commanding the Leocwen, picked up everyone except for Angelo and Earth (So Jen, Drake, Arit, Miren and Ben) to take them to the UN special command post set up for this eventuality. But on arrival the site is a smoking wasteland, with the charred corpses of Commander O'Donald and his staff layed out across the site.

 

Angelo spent another day in the desert, digging his hole to find the aliens, before giving up and returning to the Russian base for a refreshing glass of ale.

There he was interogating by Jim Qui-Gon, a Cheddar Knight on a question to find the ancient and powerful Orb of Jar Jar.

Angelo was eventually introduced to Jim's servant, Earth, who he recognised from serving on the Unity.

Angelo of course didn't listen to anything Jim or Earth said, while Earth listened intently to what Angelo had to say, and quickly connected the aliens he was searching for with the City of Aliens he and Jim had found some weeks previously.

Earth chose to keep this information to himself and quietly busied himself with whatever task Jim came up with for him to do.

 

As the days turned into weeks, and no clues came up the conversation slowly turned to acquiring more blasters again, and Angelo let slip that he had access to the Russian Armoury. Shortly thereafter Angelo was arrested trying to bring a pick up trunk to the armoury. Stromboli intervened and quickly noticed the Cheddye Mind Force Technique, and releasing Angelo, and calling Earth and Jim in for questioning. Jim decided it would be better if they carried on searching for Blasters...

 

 

Objectives:

All: This war will devestate the region and potentially hold back Humanity's exploration of Space for decades. A settlement must be reached. (2 Merits)

All: Destroy any and all Enemies (5 Merits)

 

Arit: Secret (4 Merits)

Angelo: Find the Alien Hive (3 Merits)

Angelo: Find and arrest Jim (3 Merits) and Earth (2 Merits)

Angelo: Kill Jim (1 Merit) and Earth (2 Merits)

Angelo: Secret(4 Merits)

Earth: Warn the Aliens about the impending threat from the Russians (3 Merits)

Earth: Recover the lost Orb of Jar Jar for the Aliens (3 Merits)

Earth: Acquire 100 Blasters (1 Merit)

Drake, Arit, Jen, Miren: The UN special command center didn't just blow itself up, find out the truth. (1 Merit)

Drake, Arit, Jen, Miren: Get back to civilisation. (1 Merit)

Jen: Secret (5 Merits)

Miren: Secret (5 Merits)

Drake, Earth, Arit, Jen, Miren: Secret (3 Merits)

Drake: Secret (4 Merits)

 

Failure Criteria:

Dying nullifies all personal objectives (You can still get the All: Ones)

Death: -1 Merit

You fail to complete at least one of your personal missions: -1 Merit

Inability to complete an objective: -2 Merits

The Unity arrives without resolution (2 sessions, including this one): -5 Merits

When I left, I HAD to go to bed.

Also, I HAVE a curfew.

Everyone seems to Hate me at this point (although there are a few who are actually kind to me)

AND Archi, my sight is either failing me or you just edited your posts. (And unfortunatly we kinda posted at the same time earlier [posts 1392 and 1393] so there was no need to yell/ have typed my name in huge letters)

Archi, Myren had tackled me while on a planet (Mars I think) and unfortunatly we have together to get off the stinkin planet.
