Hmm... Well I'm beyond confused. I'm playing in the lowest ping world available for me, tried switching to the browser rather than client (because my internet is truely just as fast as ever) but I'm still getting dc'ed every 30 seconds-a minute.

Actually, it turns out I had some Java updates available, and after installing them, RS is back to its normal speed. I feel kind of dumb lol. I guess this thread can be closed.
