anyone enlighten me as to what all those cooking tools are about...the ones that can be bought from the culinromancer chest..do they do anything special???

They have some combat stats associated with them but for your everyday training needs they are largely just a cosmetic novelty item.

Not really. They're just novelty weapons that have similar stats to certain metal ones(EG: The cleaver has the same stats as a rune scimitar).

Technically just a "fun" way to train instead of just using a Rune Scim...
