A Coupla Questions

Hello TIF. I have a coupla questions:

1. Slayer: With 1m, how should I train slayer? Still powertrain? Mild powertrain? Or not at all powertrain? Should I use excalibur for the Defense boost, not bother with it, or use another spec weapon?

 

2. Money: How should I make $ with my stats? I only have 218 QP.

3. Training: What skill should I train in general? How should I train each skill?

4. General: What other activities should I do in RS to help me make RS life more comfortable? Like what miniquests, minigames, items to get, rewards to get (from Dungeoneering, minigames, miniquests, etc etc), etc etc...

 

Notes: I don't have an EE/EEE, I have 150 Spec Restores, 50 P Pots, Super Atk, and Super Str Pots.

If you're going to slay, go all out and Powerslay.

 

Cannon all tasks that you can, use prayer ALWAYS, and an offensive spec weapon will benefit you more, like D Claws.

1. At your slayer level, the drops you get should easily break even with the cost of powerslaying so go full out powerslay.

2. I find dungeoneering a great skill train because you don't need any money and its fun although you might not feel it at your level but try dunging with dgs instead of w117 :thumbsup: . There's no skill you should train in general, it depends on your goal. If you are going to slay alot, turmoil, extreme and yaks are what you want to aim for although I don't think you have money for that yet.

3. Doing weekly kingdom, daily herb runs, the usual money advice should make your life more comfortable. Chaotic rapier should satisfy most of your need. Imbued rings are cool and will make your training and boss hunting faster but it's up to you to decide if its worth the time to get the ranks.

For slayer, it is even worth it at 1m cash?

I already dungeoneer but due to college I can't do many larges.

After I get about 3m, I will start back up on Kingdom. Farm Runs I can do. CR I can get but due to college, it will take a while. As for MA, I want to learn it, but it seems hard to play.

Most people just suicide for ma. It's good to play if you are busy, you basically attack the wall, afk for 4 min, kill your troops, resupply enter another game and afk for another 4 min and repeat.

 

Whether it's worth it is up to you. To me it is, unless you have some plans for that cash. Slayer won't make you tons of money. It would be better overall if you made money by bossing or something and then used that money for slayer. But as I said, at your slayer level, you should break even powerslaying. You will even make money if you decide to 'up' your tasks. I.e. zammy boss when assigned greaters, dks when assigned dags

^ Idk if my stats are good enough to do the alternatives for slayer assignments. Guess that answers the topic slayer question of mine, but the above I am not sure of (for slayer).

you probably wouldn't be to well off doing the alternatives.

 

for now, just do all your slayer tasks - try not to skip anything but the most unbearable ones while you save up money.

a slayer task should take about an hour - try to dg a small or two to get used to DG-ing and farm a bit inbetween.

 

if you want, you can just dg (by yourself if you can't do larges and just get faster/better while doing farm runes every hour or so)

I guess I'll do all tasks. Should I also do Metal Drags since I don't have a rapier?

You can try boosting your herby and make super antifires then use a zammy spear to kill metals. However, I'm guess you can't really afford a zs atm so you could either try whip, or any of the new stabby weapons that jagex made. I would say yes do metal dragons, they have the highest 'potential' drop of any slayer monster, i.e. visage.

I could try boosting to antifires, but I doubt I'll get a +5.

Make it a goal to get a quest cape. It helps greatly with getting all of your stats up and give you a goal for most of them.

My final goal is quest cape, yes, but that isn't for a very long time. I like quests, just I have more lvls and money to make before I go on a long questing spree. I have never made more than 40m, so the $ for all the skills needed will be tough.
