May 25, 201115 yr im soon to start bandos soloing, for some gps, and im quite embarssed to say, i have never done bandos solo. infact last time i went gwd was fair time ago just need advice on set up and inventory really i have: turmoiloverloadsyakchaotic rapier / maul what inv should i take?and what should my gear be? thanks!!!
May 25, 201115 yr I've been soloing a bit, so far what would be best I think would be something along the lines of.. Verac HelmKarils Top (pernix top)Veracs bottom (torva legs)Soul wars cape/fire cape/completionist capeZerker ring (i) > zerker ringzammy arrowBarrows gloves As for your weapon, you will want to use claws for specs. In terms of DPS the order is this (I think) rapier + def > cls + d def > maul > cls + shield > rapier + shield. I suggest bring a rapier, d def and a shield. Use the d def on the minions for certain, then try out both the shield and d def on the boss. Inventory you will need to work out on your own. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

Unfortunately I can't link you to the relevant information, but CLS has been proven to be better than a rapier on Graar (rapier is still better on minions, of course). To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

While it may be better, it really doesn't matter in this situation because the OP stated that he has Chaotic Raper and Maul, not CLS. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

A newbie to soloing him may want to learn the ropes with actual experience before doing that. My first solo attempt was saturday, got koed on kill number 2 (not to worry only lost supplies in the tortoise since the grave doesn't protect BOB inventory). Second solo attempt was later that night, turned into competing with a crasher who was using rapier. Using longsword, I won the majority of the DPS battles against him on graardor :P.

May 26, 201115 yr What I use for duo/trio (I increse ovls for trio and depending who I'm going with and how they like it) I'd suggest you change D Def to a Spectral or CKS for added defence, and change the maul to a ddef incase crashers turn up. Also neit into Verac and probably cape into a Soul Wars one.: Yak normally has: Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total.Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
