3 Dung Questions

My friend who does have 99 range (I obviously do not) really wants the Sagittarian longbow and wants to know the quickest way to get it (c1, small rush, more people, etc?). He also would like to know if prom chainbody or tyrannoleather top would be better. I have told him that range isn't so useful in Dung, but he's set on using range and these items. His stats are 70 Atk, 75 Str, 90 Def, 93 HP, 99 range, 52 pray, and 79 mage, 63 dung.

Now, my question. I only train Dung with the same 2 people (we really hate playing with micromanagers and ragequitters). We are all the same Dung level (73 right now) and always on the same floor. What floors should we be rushing and which should we be doing c6 larges/mediums on?

We don't need to hear that the strategies we use are inferior, inefficient, etc. We know... All advice is appreciated, but please just answer the questions. Thanks in advance .

For hunting an item, do 5:5 small of the floor where the boss appears most (sag is f24 I think)

If you do not have 5, do med with 2+ players

I highly recommend against sag longbow though. I assume he has 2 binds?

Since hood isn't as useful for small teams, and it sounds like he doesn't have the hood, prom plate would be better than tyranno body, because the longbow has a lot of accuracy.

You could also consider sag short + tyranno body.

Personally I'd recommend Kata 2h + sag short since he's set on ranging, and it's decent for mages.

C1 the first 70% of your floors, c6 med/large the last 30%.

I'm assuming he's a Range Tank. In all honesty(And of course these are just suggestions, you can void it if you want), i would suggest a kata 2h on defensive with normal binds. It would be better DPS then a long/shortbow i believe. Other then that, maybe bind a rapier with the tank ring, and take a shield off the start table? >.>

No idea if that would be better DPS then a leather body + shortbow or longbow + platebody and a ranging ring. Never experimented with things like that =S

Oh! but i do think that mage is better DPS then range in daemonhiem(Sans the HHB). So perhaps you should tell your friend to get 99 mage and use a CCS and a CSB(And quite frankly i think mage looks badass in dungoneering)? Getting mage wouldn't hurt his stats. Actually, he could use at least 94 mage if he PKs at all.

But as far as drops, 5:5 on smalls is the best you can do for a decent boss drop. If not 5 people, then then mediums i guess.

The best setup for an account like that(assuming he can't use berserker ring) would be to mage/range combo. Longbows are terrible due to their sheer lack of raw dps, so a sag short will serve him much better. For mage, he should get atleast 90+ mage to bind empowered catalytic staff to use with earth surge. Due to your training preferences, the lack of defense or hood should not be a problem. That said, no matter what bind setup he chooses, his dps will forever be subpar(even hex+ccs doesn't work that well).

As tui already said, do around 70%(less if you don't like c1's/c2's) as c1's and higher floors as larges/meds.

5:5 small dungeons are best for t11 drops, preferably with 5 players 99hp/138 cb.
