Overloads tips and tricks?

hey guys, im trying to stew to ovls. i need a +4 boost but havent gotten one yet.... i heard its better to use 2 dose stews instead of 3's, is that true? also i heard that if you log out before the boost goes down, itl reset the "boost timer." can some1 confirm? lastly, i see DGS'rs olving before going in to a dg with ouse options, how exactly do i do this?

If you log out before the 1 minute boost timer is reset then the boost timer resets I can confirm this as to the other questions I'll let more expert people answer those.

The overload carries over in to the first few minutes of the dungeon giving you boosted stats as well as healing you for 500 lp at the end of the duration. House options basically freezes the overload timer, so when we overload before a dungeon we will go into house options in case the dungeon doesn't start right away and we can have the stat boosts available for more time in floor.

When you first get the boost it won't last for 1min but more like 15-20sec so immediately log out so you don't lose it. :P

 

I used 3 doses, higher chance to get a higher boost iirc.

Use 3 doses for the stew.

Go big or go home. Use three doses of brown spice to increase chance of getting a higher boost. Good luck on that. Or as an alternate option, wait a few days and do some effigies for your friends until you level and try for a + 3 boost.

And +4 boost is like 20% chance or so. You should get it fairly easily.

Or equip a skillcape and start a stopwatch the moment your stat returns to 99.
