Cannon for slayer

Hey guys.

Another post from me in Help and Advice lol, really can't remember anything since I've came back.

Does someone know a list of locations where cannons are good for Slayer? Or where they can't be set up, or where they are useful?

Im going for 99 Slayer whilst doing some TDs on the side and I was wondering if a cannon really speeds it up that much?

Use a cannon anywhere where a cannon is allowed. I just woke up so I'm definitely a bit groggy but I don't even think there are exceptions.

They can't be set up in CT, Kuradal's, Ancient Cavern, and Slayer Tower. I think that covers the high slayer locations...

 

Cannon basically everything you can... black demons at Taverley, hounds at resource dungeon, dags at lighthouse, spectres in desert dungeon, black dragons (if you don't skip/block) in Evil Chicken's, velds at Meiyerditch, dark beasts at temple of light, strykewyrms if you don't skip/block, Kalphites in the new DNE location, greaters in rev dungeon, Suqahs if you don't block/skip

 

Non cannonables... Metals (should be done in ancient cavern/kura's), Blues (also done in kura's), Abby demons (kura), Dusties (CT), Gargoyles (kura), Nechryaels (chins at CT), Waterfiends (CT/Ancient Cavern), TzHaar (Jad).

 

I understand the above listings show some bias in terms of blocked/skipped tasks (imo: aquanites shouldn't be unlocked, LRC should be blocked after maxed melee, Terror Dogs and Warped Torts skipped/blocked, spirit mages skipped, wyverns blocked, fire giants skipped). If you are interested in any of the above, cannons aren't allowed in GWD or Frem Slayer dungeon. I'm not sure about Tarn's Lair/Sewers since I haven't done those quests. You can cannon wyverns and LRC. I'm unclear about Brimhaven Dungeon, but I suspect cannons can't be set up there.

Can't cannon terror dogs, I do them because I want the points and I get to use my titan, but you're pretty much correct on block/skip. You can cannon greaters (and wild dogs, lol) in Brimhaven but I'm not sure on metals.

 

Wyverns are a good task at higher levels to finish of summoning (very rare task, not worth a block), blues, abberants, dusties, gargoyles, tzhaar, greaters and nechs are all skip/block for me, sometimes do blues if I feel like making a little money.

You can also cannon greater demons in the Forinthy Dungeon for incredible XP (68K+ Slayer xp an hour according to

)

You need to be very careful though, as the entire dungeon is a PvP-zone and PKers regularly pass by.

Not to mention your cannon will skull you if anybody runs past with a familiar.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. Perhaps it might just be best to slay greaters in Kuradal's dungeon until the Summer holidays are over.
