AHappySeeker Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 Now, I had left the game for a four-year break while GWD, summoning and tasks were released so, assuming GWD came before both, Guthan's tanking may have been reasonable at the insant of release. My question is why the hell this is still a suggested tactic for Bandos GWD on the RS wiki. I'm aware of the wiki probably being second only to the runescape knowledgebase in terms of misinformation but this simply seems so glaring that it should not be allowed to exist by anyone with more than a couple of brain cells to rub together. My question is this. Am I free to get rid of this informational equivalent to a steaming turd or is there some secrret behind this that I haven't quite grasped yet? It hardly takes any common sense to figure out which information is worded wrong/just plain wrong, and what information is still viable. And Wiki isn't that bad at all. It's good as a base guideline, and with more then a few said braincells, you should easily be able to pick out the bad information. I've been using RSwiki for over a year now and have yet to make a bad choice based on it's information. As for the method itself... I guess it could be viable by people who are not maxed, and are using lootshare. But securing a world with those conditions can be near impossible. But it is possible, by some stroke of luck, that they manage to do a full trip without being bothered. So that's why i assume the information is still up there. Hexiled Razz. However, the guides are almost exclusively awful, and you should not listen to the gear setups listed at all. Don't bother trying to change it either - it will just get reverted. Just staying there for hours, having a blast, trying to smite gradoor, and all of us trying to call the drops lol. Not having to worry about crashers. Ah good times.
