Squakus Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 I was under the impression that misc are from the bosses that don't fit into the normal boss classes (like stalker, behemoth, and kal'gerion) such as rammernaut or the luminescent icefiend. As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero. Ensure you are not a social situation. I went from 99-120 dg without ever seeing some of Marm and Thok lower journals, so I would assume you can only get them by killing monsters on lower floors. I'd like to know on precisely which floors you can get the various Marm and Thok letters, as it will save me some time when I go hunting for them. Also, for some really stupid reason the journal drops appear under everything else, so you need to have patience for some monsters as well *stares at icefiends*. I don't think you only find the lower ones in certain themes. I think they're just very rare.
