TC3
Just wondering what I should spend my slayer points on before blocking tasks. I currently have only bought the ability to make slayer helms as that's obviously first priority. What else is more useful/important than blocking tasks? Also which tasks are best to block? I know I'm not very high slayer but that's mainly because I didn't start slaying until recently, this will limit what I should block for the moment but, what should I block in the future? Thanks
The Observer
It depends on what you dislike or what will take a long time. What Slayer master do you use I would like to ask first?
TC3
I currently use Duradel, though I will switch to Kuradal at 75.
IAmCyanide
Before you start to block tasks make sure you buy the helm. after that block any tasks you dislike the most, and just cancel the ones that you don't like that much. Some people also invest in the Slayer Ring however, i don't find it that useful.
TC3
Thanks. I do have the helm, of course, and I'll probably go block fire giants now since I despise them.
LitterBug
Don't just block the tasks you dislike the most. It depends on the frequency that you get them - if you're going to block/cancel reasonably
TC3
I tend to get a lot of fire giant tasks and I don't really like them because they dont have good charm drops and theyre fairly mediocre exp. That should constitute a block, shouldn't it?
Antaeus
I think that the other rewards aren't so important that you should claim them before blocking. The ability to make the slayer ring is handy, as is the killing blow ability, if you do gargoyle tasks. As for which tasks to block/skip, it depends on what you like/what you're after. A similar question was made here, though they were using Kuradal already: http://forum.tip.it/topic/296282-blocking-tasks/ With Duradel I blocked/skipped AquanitesDesert StrykewyrmsDust DevilsFire GiantsHellhoundsIron DragonsJungle StrykewyrmsKalphitesSpiritual MagesSteel DragonsWarped Terrorbirds I have no idea about the frequency of tasks that he assigns, unfortunately. So I can't say which are best to block. Ultimately it depends on what you like to kill (or, more importantly, what you can't stand :P) Best of luck! :D

The Observer
I personally blocked Steel Dragons, Iron Dragons and Warped Terrorbirds.
Quyneax
^Those are three great tasks! Irons and steels are not good xp but they drop effigies fairly often, and bones and rune drops are what makes slayer profitable. Terrorbirds are pretty fast xp with a cannon etc. For Kuradal, I'd block: Fire giantsDesert strykewyrmsJungle strykewyrmsGargoylesWarped tortoisesAquanites not unlocked They all are slow or mediocre xp with virtually no charm drops or effigy drops. Then skip: Spiritual magesLiving rock creaturesTzhaar (do Jad tasks if you need a fire cape)Dust devilsBlue dragons (can do if you need cash)Abyssal demons (can do if you need cash)Greater demons (can do if you cannon)Terror dogs (can do if you need points)Suqah (can do if you need points) I recommend doing waterfiends, wyverns and nechryeals until you reach 99 summoning, then skip them in favour of tasks that offer better xp and effigies. TC3
Thank you VERY much Quyneax, that was pretty much a perfect response. Also thanks to everyone who offered advice to me, I am very appreciative of it. I'll begin to block the tasks mentioned and cancel at my discretion. Thanks again, can't seem to say it enough right now..
