For Gen IV, I will deal with that stuff later. As for gender, I was thinking of picking the female PC/Hilda because Harpies in mythology are always female. Otherwise, I will just go with my RL gender and add my personality when giving dialogue. Of course, you know how I am a harpy's harpy in the sociopathic jerk department. Annnnyways, almost done toying around with the DS to see how it works. Only read half the instructions out of short attention span.
