SpitFire4190
I'm on a quest to obtain a lovely party hat so I ask which skill, doing what makes the most $ I have a few M to put into skills so I ask which skill would yield the highest profit I have fletched my way thus far and that is becoming old. I am also open to any other ideas of how to reach my goal. Let me know what you think.
cedriksky
It will be pretty hard to get a partyhat if you only skill to earn money.Your best bet is to train all your comnbat skills while slaying, dumping all the cash you earn in prayer and herblore and going PVM when (nearly)maxed. Steph
I would advise cleaning Grimy Herbs as it's excellent profit while still being good experience! (Assuming Mousekeys are used) And I also believe woodcutting Maple Logs and fletching them into Unfinished Bows results in pure profit, although I have no numbers for this method. Otherwise, as the poster above stated, Slayer is an excellent money maker and a good way to get your combat up as well! jasignhagj
Cleaning herbs is welfare herblore, and often it's hard to sell the herbs you cleaned for a higher price, even if the GE price is higher. Maples cut rather slow, you'd be better off buying them off the GE, as they're only 50gp each. The cheapest phat is purple at like 1.4b (Probably higher street), so even if you can find a method that makes you 1m and hour, that's still 1400 hours of playtime, and even if you managed to do that by the time you get all the money the price will likely have risen even higher. Your only options really are Merching, getting lucky Staking or getting a few lucky PvM drops.

xmrwhitex
Get Farming juJu and farm herbs or RC that will make you serious cash. Other than PVM of course.
Quyneax
Right now, the only way to make money for a partyhat at your stats is merchanting. You can also stake, but that doesn't make nearly as much (high risk as well). SpitFire4190
So I'm figuring trying my hand at PvM might be going about the best route to get a nice score, it's been ages since I've played this game though, so what monsters give pretty good loot in the past I have just killed dragons and did not have much luck doing so. jasignhagj
To do any serious boss hunting (Nex, Corp, etc) you need near maxed cb, the herblore levels for overloads, and millions in gear. For now your best moneymaker would probably be green dragons with herb runs in between trips.
