my ulitmate goal is 99 mage, its a very costly and long road but it is very rewarding.. i have considered many methods such as

 

 

 

high alching

 

 

 

cammy telleporting

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but only recently was i introduced to another potentially cheaper method..

 

 

 

the detials are a little vague, so im turning to the tip.it community for some answers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the questions i want answered are:

 

 

 

1. can the mud staff auto cast curse

 

 

 

2. how long will it take to cast 10k curse spells

 

 

 

3. is there a better way

 

 

 

4. have you used it? how successful were u?

no its good for stunning, it cant auto cast but you can stun the same monster over and over. Curse would only get you 19xp a cast so is a total pain. Stun however is 90xp a cast so you can get 108k an hour.

 

 

 

If your serious about doing it then its quiet easy to do i did 15k stuns in 3 days but then gave up so its up to you really, if you can be bothered tho it owns.

if u cast onyx enchant in mage arena place u'll get a tonne of xp, but thats with a lava staff, not mud and at 87 mage aswell. no auto cast :( but good luck with your goal!

The common idea (I'm assuming people would be smart enough for this) is to go to low level creatures in stuff that'll lower your magic offense, then use the curse/stun whatever spells until they are successful, and after that use the upper level ones until they fail, then kill the thing (or have somebody kill).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is pretty cheap, but I don't know if I'd consider it worth the hassle. With the extra time it takes to finish off the kill and whatnot, may as well alch and get some profit out of it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

it is very handy if you craft a lot of glories though :)

i lveld from 87-90 at mage arena with onyx enchant. The thing is it is not as great as people say it is. If you want to do 1k cosmics an hour you CAN'T chat you can't take a break and you need to be on the game the whole time. Unlike alching which is more relaxed, but i alreaddy bought the 30k cosmics so i just started it and well..... in the end it is more fun then alching or stunning since it is INTERACTIVE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For that reason you can keep it up for quite a bit longer since you won't get bored so quick.
