and out of nowhere i got 100 runtie noted ore worth 10k ea

You got a drop from the "rare" drop table.

Pretty much every monster has it.

If you are uber lucky, they can drop 2500 saradomin brew(4) which is worth over 30m.

Not every monster has it, if a monster drops half keys or uncut gems it drops every drop of the rare drop table.

I'm not sure if it is still a drop, but I believe some people did get it on the first day of the ROW update, before they slightly changed the rates of getting a rare drop. It might have been removed then, as I haven't heard of anything since.

it could be that higher monsters drop higher quantities of items and that something like corporal beast does drop that kind of drop.
