It was 1.1 the past two times.

The reason is because summoning is a skill where you spent 95% of the time collecting charms and only 5% actually making pouches for experience. So it's unfair for you to spend a lot of time collecting charms and then taking advantage of the weekend to do the easy part of making the pouches.

Kind of like smiithing is a skill where you spend 95% of the time gathering ore, and then 5% getting smithing xp?

Kind of like fletching is a skill where you spend 95% of the time chopping trees, and then 5% of the time getting fletching xp?

Kind of like herblore is a skill where you spend 99.9% of your time growing herbs, and then .1% of your time getting herblore xp?

Kind of like construction is a skill where you spend 99.9% of your time chopping wood, making planks, gathering supplies, and then .1% of your time getting construction xp?

No.

Obviously MOST people buy the supplies and then get their xp in those skills.

Summoning is only different because you can't buy the charms. The big problem, to JAGEX, is that you can gain Summoning xp very quickly without a multiplier. When the multiplier is used, Summoning xp is amazing.

Those are tradables. And you're exaggerating the time spent collecting on all of them, too.

Jagex clearly intend to keep summoning difficult as it is a very useful skill to have. I applaud them for this. (No, i'm not an elitist with high level summoning before you ask)

As you rightly say, you get intense summoning experience once you have the charms, and that's just how the skill works. It would be silly for them NOT to limit it.

Far too many skills are buyable and easy, i'm glad to see they're keeping some more guarded than others.
