____
Looks a bit bland. But it only really needs a few slight changes (font and alignment mainly) and it'd be ok. Really depends on what he wants it to be like :-?
weezcake
Looks fine, but I think he needs to change the text. Shorten it so it matches the length of the banner at the top :) ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. Cruiser
Looks fine, but I think he needs to change the text. Shorten it so it matches the length of the banner at the top :) That alone would make it more presentable. It would push the text farther down the page so it looks like a better use of screen space. :P Overall it looks fine for a personal page on a buisness site. devilheart14
no need 2 spend any money if its only for his personal page. try changing the font for the menu on the left and if he can have it like... ---------------------- my listings ) ----------------------- ) ---------- ) ---------- that looks more presentable then straight text or even something 2 just change the menus straight text without changing the overall template layout. Mercifull
Better quality picture in top left. Perhaps blend it in slightly fading to the red. Everything else is ok really, it does what its supposed to do and is quite clear. If he wants the design changed then have a go yourself, a professional designer would charge an absolute fortune for something so basic its just not worth it. wahoo
I think some of the grammar needs to be fixed :S But seriously, the website is good, i just think only a few things are out of place. However, if you do really want to spruce it up, try learning how to use flash by macromedia (arne't adobe taking them over or something? dunno). Vape
if you do really want to spruce it up, try learning how to use flash by macromedia (arne't adobe taking them over or something? dunno). You want to be wary of this. Flash only websites take a long time to load, especially on dialup, are difficult to edit and adjust, and your search engine ranking goes way down. Putting a little animation in the banner that's flash can look nifty, but please don't make the whole site out of it. Where the bloody hell are you? wahoo
It depends, if the animation only involves the movement of text, eg a menu system in flash, then it might load faster. I don't mean going overboard and putting huge animations all over the place.
Mercifull
Remember flash isnt default on peoples computers. If you intend to use it make sure there are clear instructions on how to get it somewhere. Think about the average age and skill level of the visitors, they arnt exactly going to be 15 year old geeks are they?...
