Se7en (*spoilers*)

I just saw the movie and I'm thrilled, the end is just so... shocking yet so predictable that it made me sick. It's as if john doe (the serial killer) has written the scenario himself, so scaringly perfect.

As soon as that van came driving down the dusty road, I just knew exactely what was going to happen even though I had no idea it was a delivery van. Only Envy and Wrath weren't 'assasinated' yet so I already thought that john would be killed out of wrath and I figured that this would most likely be because of the killing of David's wife. Somehow I thought it would end entirely differently and end with David killing himself, didn't happen and thank God for that because it would ruin the whole masterpiece to Hollywood junk (which would be: hero not doing what is expected for a mortal man but chosing justice above normal feelings of hatred).

What did you guys think about it? And finally: which movie do you prefer: Hannibal (the 2 movies) or Se7en?

I really liked that movie. Morgan Freemen and Kevin Spacey are some of the better actors out there (also another good Brad Pitt role). It was a really good thriller, kept me from beginning to end. Definatly one of the better suspense thrillers out there.

Gamertag: King Arizona

It was good, but revolting at the same time.

brad pitts "whats in the box" line is easily the most quoted between me and my friends (which means everynow and then, we dont quote movies very often. when we do, its usually this one). the way he says it is hilarious. and theres three movies in the hannibal lectre series, red dragon-silence of the lambs-hannibal. thats chronilogical storywise, not sure which came out first. but i dont see why compare those movies with se7en.

One of my favorite movie endings of all time. :D

I've seen loads of films, but I still consider this one to be the scariest along with Event Horizon. Probably because I was too young when I saw it.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

It's Silence of the Lambs (1991 I think), Hannibal and after that Red Dragon. I can see why he is comparing Silence of the Lambs with Se7en in a "which is better" thingy, since they're easily the better, if not the two best thrillers of the 90's where the serial-killer thriller movie really got it's popularity. Anyway, if you're asking me I'm going for Silence of the Lambs. Though Se7en is a quality movie as well.

I've never seen Silence of the Lambs. It's one of those movies that would be so easy for me to watch, but it always evades me. It's like, 7 bucks in a store, and it's on like every single week, but I never end up watching it for some reason. Guess I don't want to see it that much. Lol, Dance's With Wolves is on AT LEAST once a week, and I never watch that either. Too long on TV...

Se7en is exceptionally good though. Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey giving an excellent preformance, and one of Brad Pitt's best. I really like how grungy and dark it is aswell.

Pretty sure that the order that they came out in was Manhunter (1986), The Silence of the lambs (1991, Hannibal (2001), then Red Dragon (a remake of manhunter imo much better) (2002).

IThe only one I havent seen is Hannibal. I just saw se7en 2 days ago I would say it's a better movie. It just seems like a higher class (probably because of Morgan freemen)

Sweet, never knew that. You learn something new every day. :)

i didnt know that either, now i have to go out and get that movie to finish my series. thanks 7up :D . i guess they are both thrillers, for some reason i just didnt picture them the same. oh well. and putter, you have to see at least silence of the lambs, so many parts of it get parodied (it puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again!)

Yeah I just saw Se7en myself a week or two ago (thanks to Netflix), and I'd put it in the top 5 movies I've ever seen. The grungy, dirty, disgusting mood of it fit that part of the '90s perfectly, and it was one of the first movies I've ever seen with Morgan Freeman in a prominent role (hard to believe isn't it), and Brad Pitt was excellent. For a small part in terms of lines, Spacey stole the show. His defense of his actions and the sheer ARROGANCE fit a serial killer role perfectly.

I too predicted the ending step by step, because I was thinking "Okay, Gwyneth Paltrow has to be in this movie for a reason. Something is SO happening to her. I knew Envy and Wrath were left and I didn't put it with envy, but when I saw the delivery truck I figured it was Gwyneth-in-a-box and then I predicted Pitt would shoot Spacey to complete the crimes.

Excelent movie Matt Blakc's rating over all 7-10 excelent ending too. great acting on all character's parts, but the bad guy could have been like christopher walkins or someone, I didn't like the bad guy acting, he sucked.

Really? I think Spacey suited the role just fine, since he looks more like an 'average' person who is just sick of modern society. Christopher Walken is more a character for the bad guy with 'style' in my opinion.

LOL. Kevin Spacey...suck? That's just plain hilarious. You wouldn't be able to find a better actor for that role...For many roles in fact, than Kevin Spacey...Christopher Walken, are you on crack? He like, a comedian. He would play a terrible serial killer.

Yea, I thought Kevin Spacey did very well, he always seemed to be a zombie; no feelings, no expression except a faint smile now and then, some one that would give me the creeps.
