Well, surely if you're going for efficiency obb, TD's has a low gp/hour and average effigy rate. Be much better to not 'hurt your hands' at all and go some where else.

We're talking efficiency in terms of TDs, obviously. Stop trolling.

there is *one* sense in which a using steel titan would bring karil x bow and ccb closer together, which is in the sense that each matter less overall because the steel titan is doing damage too, so their differences, while unchanged, are less significant.

 

Rigour or no rigour, that doesn't change how we compare them.

Rigour boosts accuracy. Ccbow is already accurate so rigour doesn't matter as much, if it's over 50% accurate with rigour (which it is). Ccb sucks not so much because you lose much killrate using it, but because there are clear better alternatives that are also cheaper and easier to use.

 

@ Jeremy: ranger's/glaiven boots + berserker (i) is much better.

 

@ Kandy: ^above applies to you too :P. Defender definitely helps a lot on Darklight, bring one.

I'm using ring of vigour (if that's good) and trying to buy steadfast, though I can get glaiven instead of they'd be better. I also altered it so I have a d def.

 

I've done two trips so far, first one got me claws which broke a 800 dry streak. :D First trip was a bit bumpy but I'm getting use to the new gear.

 

Currently I just leave turmoil on the entire kill and ss flash when I feel like I can do it without messing up (when it's meleeing or timed right, and usually not with HC). I also try to time the handcannon and steel titan special to hit at the same time which usually works well. Definitly liking the new set up and it'll be great I think once I get a hang of it.

 

Right now I might have to make super prayers, or switch to soulwars cape because I seem to run out of super restores before my overload dose wears off only using two.

Vigour is a bit of a doubt, if you have an imbued berserker use that for sure, regular berserker not. Glaiven would be good if you feel your handcannon misses too much.

Alright, I only have a vigour since I don't have patience for MA and would rather get my skills up instead. :P

 

And would glaiven + archer ring be a good idea? Or just stick with glaiven and vigour?

Well, the reason for glaiven over dragon/steadfast is that +10 range att > +2 melee att & +4 strength. But for archer vs berserker/vigour you get the same bonusus, and I doubt that's worth it.

oh rigour does give more accuracy to the x bow. good point :P.

 

With black dhide the bonus to the x bow is probably fairly small though.
