The 'official' 6 billionth person was born in eastern europe in like 2000. It was given there because there was a war going on at the time. I'm glad my geography class comes in useful sometimes :)

In most western countries, the average amount of childs per woman is allready below 2. Meaning that the only reason populaton doesn't decrease yet, is that people just live longer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And only 1 child, have you ever though about the economy? It would be soooooooo ruined. Especially with out social system.

 

 

 

Not to be rude and offhanded towards only child people, but I mean most of the time they are spoilt, arrogaunt and social inept. They are queit often used to getting what they want. Blahh Blahh...

That'd cause a lot of trouble. They already have a law like that in China and in like 40 years there's going to be too many old people in China who need help surviving with no one to take care of them. If a couple is only allowed one child, what if that child dies later when the couple gets old and needs taking care of? Also, parents all want their children to get a good education and job etc. In families with more than one child, if one child doesn't succeed so well in school and later in life, they have another child to hope on. But in China people only have one child so the children have so much pressure on them to try and go their own way, but also to try and satisfy their parents at the same time.

Yet, whenever someone makes a new topic on the similar subject, they're told to use the search button for an older thread :?

I know what you're saying and that is why I'm gonna retract my comment. It was like 3am and been out at night :P. I don't mind anyone bumping an old thread with like a question or if they like state a reason. Like if at the top of the thread said

But most the time it's someone bumping it and just saying like "yeah I agree" at which point it just becomes stupid. But I see what ya mean.
