Yeah you lose pets when you die.

You don't lose pets since the death changes. It will be following you when you respawn if you died anywhere outside of the wilderness or (probably) dangerous clan wars.

Maybe this should be tested with cats too, as they work on whole other systems. And I would just be save and try not to die with them as you can never be sure with jagex (just think about gravestones, I am now not sure anymore if I should destroy it or not so I always pick up my stuff first before destroying it)

Why would you even consider destroying it first?

The grave holds the items in place and stops others from seeing them or them de-spawning due to time; that is the graves entire purpose. Destroying it ends these effects, whole point is you pikc stuff up from ur grave, not destroy it then spam click and hope u get it all b4 it vanishes.

I wouldn't test it with Jad pet lol, would be a huge pain getting 100 zeal again if I actually did lose him
