June 15, 201412 yr Author So I'm kind of at a standstill with what to do with my OSRS account, so I'm putting it up to a poll. Deo was originally a pure when created but I [bleep]ed up and felt like I should have gone further afterwards, so that's why I originally wanted to be a pure on De0. Back in actual 06/07, I didn't do much pking on pures but did do a lot of pure staking which was fun (albeit risky). I'm not really into the whole clan scene either and I know that's a big reason to be a pure. If I were to train defense and prayer I could do a lot more things including quests, clue scrolls, slayer, and pvm (though I have almost never pvm'd in live game so not really sure if I'd bother in 07 either). I'm still on the fence on whether or not my OSRS account is going to be a money farming (not botting!) account for RS3 (which is legal before people think I'm a bad person). So many factors involved with the transfer rate such as legacy and quality of updates in both RS3 and OSRS. Obviously any money is worth it but I'd be more dedicated to making money if the rate stays at say 5:1 or higher. I think moneymaking would be a lot easier on an account with defense. So yeah. Vote away. I have to vote to be able to see the results but I'm about half and half so I'll use one of my trusty vote swing accounts to even it out. I'll prob keep the poll up for 2 weeks (end June 29th) and focus on skilling until then. Inefficiency = fun. That's objective and can't be debated. Ever. June 19, 201412 yr Author Also since it looks like not pure is going to win (still 11 days left to vote but with the "usuals" already having voted it will probably remain as is) I may as well announce that I'm going for comp cape on OSRS. My rules for this are the same reqs for RS3 minus the ones that are exclusive to RS3. None of the exclusive OSRS content is completionist-like, so there will be no requirements past those. Will drum up a post on the first page shortly.
