Max Combat Suggestions?

Homesick

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to max my combat finally through slayer. I need suggestions on which order I should get my stats up though.

My current stats:

82 Attack

90 Strength

85 Defence

95 Hitpoints

80 Summoning

99 Range/Mage/Prayer

I am P2P and money is not an issue. I will be using a chaotic rapier, bandos, etc.

Hp will come on it's own, I'm not very concerned about that. I was thinking about getting attack and defence to 90 first, and then getting 99 strength, etc, But I don't know if that is a very smart choice.

Any thoughts on how I should level up?

I think it would be best to get even 90 melee stats and then train whichever one you want tbh. You would get a fair few charms from slayer to level up your summoning as you go along as well.

I recall reading in Zarfot's slayer guide keep strength about 5 levels ahead of attack and defense.

Although if you're going to dung you might want to stop training strength at 98 and just get it through dungeoneering or get it last so you 'waste' less xp.

I'd say, keep strength ~5 levels ahead of attack, ignore defence, get 99 strength then attack, then finish defence. Use triple charms & Bork to get 95 summoning asap - iron titans train defence.

Thanks for your input guys. I decided to keep training strength till 95 so I could hit higher and whatnot then get 90 attack and maybe dungeoneer a little bit for some other chaotics/strength exp. Defence will be my last combat as some of you said to do.
