hlpmee
The battlemage set inside minigame is powerful. Good magic offense AND Good melee defense, excellent for mage tank, but comestic only outside minigame. Question: What's in your opinions, the best(or good) replacement of battlemage set outside minigame. In my opinion: [spoiler=Best setup]cost: 534m Helment: Virtus maskNecklace: Arcane stream necklaceBody: Virtus robe topLeg: Virtus rob legBoots: Steadfast bootsGloves: Goliath glovesring: Onyx ring (i)Cape: Completionist capeWeapon: Chaotic staffShield: Arcane spirit shield Bonus: +141 magic attack+233 stab defence+225 slash defence +263 cursh defence+35 magic damage26% absorb melee [spoiler=Good setup]cost: 16m Helment: Full slayer helmetNecklace: Arcane stream necklaceBody: Ahrim's robetopLeg: Ahrim's robeskirtBoots: Dragon bootsGloves: Goliath glovesring: Seers' ringCape: Fire capeWeapon: Chaotic staffShield: Dragonfire shield Bonus: +85 magic attack+233 stab defence+225 slash defence +247 cursh defence+35 magic damage17% absorb melee
JohnTheCop
assuming your farcasting use max mage attack (with verac hem) + a guthan skirt as switch when th.ey get within melee distance or break out some range assuming your fighting in pvp.thats imo though "Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances."Benjamin Franklin "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."Albert Einstein
AHappySeeker
... Why Guthan's skirt when Verac/Torag are better in every way?
JohnTheCop
guthan skirt gives a better mage attack bonus.... well a less bad one that is "Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances."Benjamin Franklin "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."Albert Einstein
AHappySeeker
Oh, I thought you meant the skirt as a melee switch.
Quyneax
If you want to melee/mage hybrid you're looking at full Virtus + ragefire & max mage gear (not steadfasts) with cmaul or rapier + cls, torva switches, divine if you have it (in pvp). Jadinko
What are you using it for? Places where you use magic are generally monsters which are VERY weak to it. In that case you wouldnt want setup number 1 (unless of course you have full access to it). If you are using it for PVP, i wouldnt recommend using setup number 1 either. >looks at chris archies latest video :ohnoes: TL;DR Setup 2 most of the time.
