January 21, 200620 yr Throughout the land, there are many books that explain how parts of Runescape work, and also give us hints into it's history. I am attempting to gather these manuscripts and compile an interesting view into Gielenor's past. What I need is the locations and names of various books from quests, those just lying around, etc. Books found so far: Crumbling Tome -- An amazing read into the history of the Barrows Brothers -Found outside Barrows or by talking to the strange old man. Diary -- The diary of Herbi Flax, describing Mo'rton's fall to the Shades -Found in the remains of Herbi Flax's laboratory in Mo'rton. Astrology Book -- A look into the history of Astrology in Runescape -Found in the Observatory. Goblin Symbol Book -- A brief history of the Goblin race, along with various crests. -Found in the Varrock Library. Book -- 'The Shield of Arrav' by A R Wright -Found in the Varrock Library. Book on Chemicals -- Journal describing how to make explosives -Found at the Digsite Varmen's Notes -- Journal describing the excavation of Uzer -Found at the Digsite Strange Book -- Various theorums on math and science, as well as a short journal of the Wise Old Man of Draynor -Found in the W.O.M.'s home. Book of Folklore -- Briefly describes Elder-Dragons -Found in the W.O.M.'s home. Battered Book -- Book detailing the possibility of an elemental workshop. -Found in the Seer's Village Manual -- Operating Manual for the North Kanderin Lighthouse -Found in the Lighthouse Diary -- Uncle Silas' diary, filled with strange passages leading to his suicide -Found int he Lighthouse Journal -- Jossak's journal, describing his relationship with Larissa and his hunt to find out what happened to his Uncle Silas. I would love examines if yall could arrange it. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

January 21, 200620 yr When I did my history on the 5th age of RS I got most of the info from the Museum outpost near the gates to Arandar. No such books though I don't think. There's also the 3 books found within the Elven town of Lleyta detailing what happened from the 2nd age to the 4th age of RS but only specific to the lands of the Elves. Also the events detailing the goblin history are found within the Library of Varrock. Other places which are useful for RS history is the story of the ghostly robes and the stories the serpent tells to you which is guarding the tears of Guthix. 99 Magic, 99 Defence, 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 99 Hitpoints, 99 Fletching, 99 Woodcutting, 99 Firemaking, 99 Thieving, 99 Ranged, 99 Prayer, 99 Cooking, 99 Fishing

January 21, 200620 yr runescape history is very interesting. and dramatic not to mention mysterious jagex always is a let down on things like history and such. like for example, the thazzar people i thought omg this is insane when it first came out, now as i was meleeing them i found theirs thazaar people that are beyond the walls and gates and stuff deeper in the volcano and im disappointed the gates have not been opened to use, even if a HARD quest was required it looks like its worth it hopefully they add a lava book to the thazaar place describing their history which requires ice gloves to read it.
