I appreciate your help.
homer205
Keep ring on berserker. Switch 2h to primal battleaxe at 89 (don't get promethium). Will leave hood vs plate to someone with more experience.
Hedgehog
Nowadays, the role of keyer is downplayed. The keyer is the one responsible for the crit path, mostly. I'd recommend reading maz's guide for more info. As far as binds go, you're looking at prim 2h>prim baxe>prom, prim plate>hood. Your post implies that you're not very good at dungeoneering, and I assume you use w117 or something. If you do, there isn't much you can do to speed up your floors, so go with a tank ring and pick up an anti dragon shield at the start, to minimize your deaths. Don't worry about sucking, because everyone around you sucks too. A lot of things are more important than binds, though. Good map reading skills are a necessity. Read Tui's guide on xpw for that. Practice is good too.

Hedgehog
Ehh...Don't break your hood just yet. You're probably too inexperienced for it to be worth it.
Deletion
Stick with the hood for now, atleast until you've learnt all the little tricks to avoid taking damage and increase your DPS (side-stepping, prayer flashing, kiting etc). It's also definitely not qorth breaking your hood for a Prom plate, which is what you'll be looking at.
Quyneax
There's a sliding scale of keyer specialization, going from 100% pathing to 20% pathing. At the 100% mark, you have the old setup of one keyer and four dpsers. The keyer holds all keys, runs everywhere, opens each door, and the dpsers only do guardian doors. The keyer only runs from door to door, does not fight, so is well off with tank/gatherer. This results in fairly slow floors.Somewhere in between you have the keyer, wingperson/people and dpsers. The keyer holds the keys, opens most doors, runs most paths, but wingpeople will do some smaller paths and help organize the floor. The keyer is better off with berserker when there's nothing to path/wingpeople are taking care of pathing. Somewhat faster floors than 100%.Then there's the pro/fast floor method where the keyer holds the keys, does the biggest path, directs less skilled teammates but otherwise is equal to all teammates. It helps a lot to have each person pathing at the same time rather than one person having to do five paths in a row. Leads to the fastest floors and highest xp/hr. As you go along the scale, you'll quickly find that for the fastest, highest xp/hr floors you want your keyer to have good dps as well: prom 2h, hood, csb, plate/blood neck/hex for 3rd, then that again for 4th.
