Back to runescape

Hey guys, I've recently started playing runescape again after quite a long break (from about a few weeks after dung was released) and I've noticed there has been loads of updates and changes. So yeah I have a few questions:

1. Is farming herbs still a good method of income on the side?

2. If herb farming is still good, What should I do with 66 farming? Snaps still?

3. Are GE Limits effecting that item only? (Cooked food limitations are 10k p4h, Does this mean I could, for example, buy 10k cooked monks and 10k cooked sharks at the same time, Or will I only be able to buy 10k of any cooked food?)

4. Im still soloing dungs at 49 dung, When should I start looking into getting into a team?

5. Any 'Must-do' quests came out the past year?

Thanks (:

P.S - Sorry if some of the things I said don't make sense, My brain is destroyed from the weekend.

Yeah, herb farming between tasks or every 90 minutes or so is still rather nice side money. However, it's sort of required to get juju farming pots first to maximize your profit. I'm not sure what's the most profitable herb to farm before Torstols, but I'd say Snaps is a safe bet.

Guide to Herblore Habitat if you're interested in getting juju farming pots.

Another one here.

I just attempted to read the guides and it seems like so much effort for what it's worth... But that's just me, I'm a pretty casual, yet lazy player haha. As long as it's still somewhat profitable, I'm happy. (:

Thanks for your help, Much appriciated!

1 & 2: Mostly covered above, though I'll add that farming herbs is still plenty profitable without jujus if you don't want to spend the time on em (and snaps should be fine).

3. Pretty sure it's on the specific item, not on the type; the limit on each item of the same type is the same though, which is why they get listed by type.

4. Probably once you get a shadow silk hood; many require that to dg with their team. But of course, if you can manage with a team before then, it's probably faster than without one.

5. If you have the levels, Ritual of the Mahjarrat is a recent grandmaster with plenty of rewards. You may want to look into the seasonal quests for some quick rewards, as well (Myths of the White Lands is the only one I can recall at the moment) and make sure you've done al lthe Elemental WQorkshop quests (we have I through IV). Oh, and Fairy Tale pt III gives an infinite-use watering can, which can be handy if you do other farming. Finally, check in on the Myreque quest chain - there's some good rewards in the Temple Trekking minigame (it got updated), and it's unlocked and improved by doing quests in that chain. The most recent one in that chain is The Branches of Darkmeyer.

Oh! And One Piercing Note is the first fully-voiced quest to be released; it's definitely worth playing through (with the sound turned on!) to see what that's like, as well as some good prayer XP if you own any of the god prayer books.

Obtained quest cape and base 92 before obtaining any 99s! Currently finishing out my 99s with the (long-distant) goal of comp cape.

1) Farming is still a good profit with snaps even without jujuj, seeds are only about 25K from the last time I checked.

2) Pretty much summed it up, snaps are your best bet, toadflax I guess if you really want a large profit margin.

3) As far as I can remember, limits don't affect it that way. Although now there is no wait between buying a selling your limit. For instance you can buy your 10k sharks and resell them 30 seconds later.

4) Probably around 60-65, somewhere in that range.

5) Hard to think of any really must-do quests, Ritual of the Mahjarrat is a decent one to do when/if you can. Along with One Peircing Note, the rewards for this one aren't all that noteable but it's a completely voice acted quest so it's kinda cool to hear the NPC's talking.

Hope that helps, I know it's not the most precise of answers but it's an early Monday morning, 'nuff said.

4. As soon as possible is best. Ideally you'd get a small group of friends to team with. Don't be afraid to duo or trio if you can't find the full five.

5. Just do all the quests. Why not, right?
