Zeno
So I've been doing glacors and tormented demons a lot recently, and I just want to check on a couple of things to see if I'm doing it right Stats are in my signature I don't want to hear comments on my magic level being too low for glacors, I'm training it there and using overloads to use fire surge as of right now Is there a better spot to kill tormented demons than near the entrance to the temple? anyways, here is my set up --- For tormented demons, I'm using:[hide]void with a deflector (replacing the glove slot, barrows gloves) rapier/polypore staff soul wars cape arcane stream/fury dragon boots/infinity boots[/hide] --- for glacors, I'm using:[hide]ahrim's top + bottom neitz dragon boots staff of light/rapier csb/dragon defender berserker ring with a ring of wealth swap for the last hit a soulwars cape barrows gloves arcane stream/fury[/hide] --- All armor critiques are welcome, thanks in advance! JeRambo
Use the tormented demon spot that best suits your comfort. I prefer the north spot myself. The TD setup seems fine. Are you using one of the lower titans? How many kph can you get with that? Good luck. :) "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." Quyneax
Robes + Farseer helm + Ardougne cape are better for tds too I'm pretty sure, magic accuracy is important. You'll also gain darklight accuracy (switch fury-defender-rapier for arcstream-mage's book-pps). Otherwise, looks good. DyingSilent
Setups aren't bad at all. The suggestions mentioned above are good. I personally use the north spot at Tormented Demons because it's an easy lure, and if you run into trouble, there's quite a big safe spot to hide in. 2461/2496 Total, 35 levels to CompletionistSunstriker: Path to Completionist Cape
ghjkl
dont use void for tds if you are magingi use the southern spot with 3 spawnsbut that's because i'm fast and use steel titan and summoning potions and special restoresyou can probably manage only 1 spawn at a time so the entrance spot is the best for that
Glacors
For Glacors I just switched from a setup similar to yours to: Ahrim's HoodArcane Stream NecklaceAhrim's Robe TopAhrim's Robe SkirtInfinity BootsArmadyl BattlestaffCelestial SurgeboxRing of WealthBarrows Gloves. The main idea being maxing mage offense as far as possible within budget, while bringing the Staff of Armadyl into the mix. Switch between fire surge for the main Glacor and SoA for the minions. Offensive familiar on sapping, spam scrolls while SoAing Enduring. If your timing and hits are good then they'll both be dead just as Unstable specs for the first time, leaving you to cast SoA once on it to k0 before changing back to Fire Surge for the Glacor. If you need a Titan for healing then SoA alone should still be significantly faster than Rapier. I don't bother to lure the minions or Glacor (except Enduring, luring as far away as possible without missing SoA casts), however you still might want to try this quickly to save HP as you don't have SS. Doing the above increased my kill rate from 30-35/hour to 55-60/hour. I'm sure this method would benefit you KPH wise but at a slightly higher cost.
