Frosts vs. DKS

I'm trying to get money for Turmoil so I can finish out Slayer and start bossign and I was wondering what would be better, Frosts or DKS.

My Stats:

93 Melees

97 HP

91 Mage

95 Range

80 Pray

I have Overloads, a Yak, Rapier, Arcane Stream, Elite Void, Dreadnips, DT Gloves (Mage, Range and Melee helm)

I'm leaning towards DKS, as I've done Frosts and they are really boring, but if Frosts are substantially better I will do those. I have actually never been to DKS, so what would be the best set up to Tri-brid in? Could I get away with using elite void and just switching helms for each King? Or would i get wrecked? Also, what would be the best set-up while using a Slayer Helm? I don't have a Chaotic C'bow, should I try to get that or would a Rune C'bow suffice?

Last questions, I want to start doing K'ril for my Greater tasks and I was wondering what would be the best set up for him also. And finally, what would be better for K'ril, Leach Defense or Piety?

Sorry for all the questions, but any help I could get on these would be really appreciated.

I don't know for sure, but I think frosts are better money. They're certainly a more consistent money maker.

DKs are fun, but a lot more dangerous than frosts. I would not recommend trying to solo tri-brid on your first trip; a lot people die at DKs before they get the hang of it.

And you absolutely do not want void at DKs - you will get torn apart. You start out getting hit by strong range, mage, and melee all at the same time. The basic strategy is to pray mage, have very high range defense, and freeze/tank/kill Rex quickly.

Anyhow, you have the stats to tri-brid, but there a good sized learning curve for DKs, and much greater risk. Frosts will be a much safer and more consistent source of income for you. You could also consider solo maging Rex. That's a lot less dangerous, but your income is primarily going to be based on getting ring drops. Just my two cents.

Frosts drop effigies, so that's one thing to consider.

I believe dks at the top notch are better money, but frosts scale down better.

You can't use void for tribriding sadly, as you will at times have Supreme and Prime on you, which really requires 300+ ranged defence to comfortably tank.

This is my yak/inv setup personally. Although it's not fully perfect yet, I'm still trying to tweak it to perfection. And I still might have 1-2 brews too many. (There was no particular order of Prayer/Super restore pots, I just like to have a bit of both).

And setup.

Flick soulsplit on Supreme and Rex always, regardless whether Rex is on me during Supreme or not. Rex will barely hit on you anyway in that armor.

Thanks for the set-up Leik, that is really helpful. I do have a couple questions though. I don't have a CKS, what a DFS be the next best option? Also, are Dreadnips worth bringing here? And finally, since I don't have SS, how many more brews/not as many ovls should I bring?

Without a comp cape you'll have less accuracy and strength etc., so that changes things. You should use a Soul Wars cape, probably do a 2 yak trip with 6 overloads or 3 yaks with 8. Reduce the number of pray pots/restores by about a third and bring the rest brews.
