Stev Posted January 28, 2012 Author Share Posted January 28, 2012 We've been having some insane luck at corp lately. In just over 3 days we've seen 6 sigils: 1 Elysian, 2 Arcane, 3 Spectral. We, and our approved guests, went to Zammy with the TMHT and had an awesome time! We're not always about making money, which is what I believe is great about the TMHT; It's mainly about fun. No huge profits, but it's a break from the efficiency trips where everyone's ell-bent of making GP. :P. Zammy is the perfect example. There were 46 people, an excellent crowd, lots of friends, a great get-together which also put some change in everyone's pockets. :). Armadyl been a stingy ****, but Bandos has had it's share of payouts. :). We plan on Nexing over the next few days with some of the usual Armadyl and Corp. On a side note, don't forget about the 2nd Zammy event by the TMHT coming up! If it's as fun as the first, you won't regret going! I'd also like to mention, the majority of people guest our CC. We don't expect people to become members and we actually hop for more guests then members. We want to be the people you hop into the CC for a few minutes, say, "Bandos, anyone?" and we can set you up with some people and an FC. Or are you focusing more heavily on improving your member core?Right now the majority of our boss hunts are with people who guest. You can see from our forum that we have 2 entire pages of guest applications... Lol. Our focus is not on gaining actual members/ranks, although we'd love that. We created the CC for kind of a selfish yet selfless reason. We, the admins, like to boss hunt for the fun of it; the drops are just a bonus. Our members and guests like the profit aspect. We made the CC so that any time we wanted to start a boss hunt, we've got people willing and ready to go. So we get what we want (instantly scheduled boss hunts) and they get what they want (GP). :). Our guest applications are so we remain organised and so that when starting a boss hunt we can simply look at our list of applications and people in our PvMS usergroup and invite them. :). Corporeal Beast is done daily/nightly either in a mass or 2 to 6 man. Josh, Kelly, and Clay are our usual Corp setter-uppers. We usually do a boss like Nex or similar that drops very valuable items. We'll boost our LSP to a few hundred M by inviting others we know have good LSP to snipe drops from us. When WE have high LSP, we start a GWD mass so when/if we do get a drop, we don't lose much LSP. When we find our LSP is high enough we go into a mass CC (We're great friends with WeLoveCorp) and snipe their drops. :P. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
