Sy_Accursed
I know SOA is the best when you are using the staff to match, but which is better without the staff, in particular looking at doing mage fire cape run.I'm thinking polypore, just because with the reduced cast speed of no armadyl staff SOA and polypore aren't too far apart so the extra inventory space would be a bonus; but not sure so advice? Octarine
For magic fight caves inventory space is a non-issue, you'll end up leaving with about half your supplies not used I'd guess that in that situation SOA is only slightly better, if price is an issue just use polypore for the waves and then SOA on Jad. You could always just buy an arma bstaff and sell back afterwards anyway Blog of DG, Bossing (mostly Glacors) and stuff - Runetrack Play Safe! - Got useful information for the tip.it website? Sy_Accursed
If I could afford an arma staff I wouldn't be asking! All my current funds will be sunken in Gano & restocking on brews (since I have like 3 left) & I suck at making money fast and my main aim is to get a firecape before the thzaar makeover just incase it is true the new quest will req it and just incase the graphical rework does nerf things. Quyneax
Well, polypore maxes at 5*level - 180, which is 300 for you (excluding potions/gear). With an arcane stream necklace you'll get +28% damage.Storm of Armadyl will hit 95 - 255 at your level, an equivalent max hit of 350. With an arcane stream necklace you'll get +30% damage and save 15% of the runes you use, or you'll get +35% damage. For each magic level you get from potions/Vecna's/wolpertinger, your base max with polypore will go up by 5 and your equivalent base max with Storm will go up by 10. Also, SOA on Jad, polypore for rest is best imo.
