Too Much or Too Little?

We need more equipment.. Why cant jagex mix it up a bit? Balance out all the weapons and armour... How often do you see someone pking with a say dragon spear or mace? Its all scimitar whip and dragon dagger (s). Why cant jagex just shake it up a bit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You know it wouldn't be hard for jagex to shake it up, why not a amulet that adds 15str and takes away 5 all attack bonuses? How about a ring that has like 5% prayer on all the time but -15 all defence? Type of thing I mean.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And more towards the PKing, why cant there be more ways to make all the same pures different? Kinda like how DiabloII has synergies and skills, though I belive that is out of the power for RS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delete all the characters that havn't played for say 6 months with a total less then 150 or something along those lines. We need this because we cant get a good name without making it "lame".. "teh kebab" I dont know if "the kebab" is taking but I think extending this type of language into character names is outragous, not all of us are 8 year olds who like to type like that to be "cool".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And what about POH's? They've only been promising it for like, 3 years? Jagex has to stop putting stuff into RS and then saying they are goin' to realese it say next week and it not happen at all. Summoning is the same thing, just maybe not as popular as carpentry or POH.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Making the smaller skills bigger, I dont know about you guys but the herblore skill seems quite small. And the skill makes it impossible for the "average Joe" to make his own magic potions(Average Joe as in plays this game at a healthly rate)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why not go and fix all the bugs in the game? At the duel arena there was a level 103 abusing a bug that made him look like a level 3. I bet jagex knows this bug, but have the fixed it? Because of their lazyness or their "way" of developing a game, some newer players or players who are new to the duel arena are/is going to loose money. Teleother bug too, but has that been fixed? YOU COULD FIX THAT BUG IN 5 MINUTES.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Its not hard, minimal programming experience is required, all the variable are already there. Its just as simple as something along these lines "if(player(inDuelArena) + acceptAid(teleother) { decline(acceptAid) "

 

 

 

Now dont get me wrong, those are not the variables names or anything of the like, and is the simplest fix. But I think I have proven my point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The demon slayer was a nice to be expanded, but the silverlight/darklight? is still not essential with Dragon longswords and Dragon Daggers. They could have made the darklight? more effective to demons as it is members only and, there are better items in existence here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jagex could bring something to the wilderness so people actually go there, other then the pure that goes and teleblocks the level 60-70's. And what about teleblock? The level for that requires insane amounts of cash. Only people with insane amounts of gp can get this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Change the reporting system. Right click and report is all I ask. And they say confusing names is not allowed? (might have been removed?) But yet there is not a rule to report it? Nor is it possible to report without wasting your time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Making pking more appealing would be nice. Pking in RSC was nice, but can you play rsc anymore? No, its now members only and its not like your gonna find an actual person pking. I remember when varrock 1-2 was pking. I remember going there when I was a newb and getting 2 hit by a pure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know pking isn't favored by a lot of people. But maybe it would be more favoured if jagex improved it, all there is now level 50's with no life that can spend 40million gp on teleblock, or is extremly good at merchanting. Its not like the average person is going to stand a chance aganist ice blitz or teleblock + charge + entangle + god spells.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And with merchanting, the average person ~might~ not know about is the best money making in the game? And it isn't even a skill. Go play other MMORPG's, do you see 500 people sitting at a selling place buying stuff for cheap and selling high? Maybe to an extent. Jagex has to think of ways to stop this.. Oh boy am I gonna get flamed for this? Put a trading cap. within a certain time limit...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try and stable the market. Realese an item thats insanly rare or actually worth 150m but make it accessible by everyone. For example level 12 tresure guarders have a 1/100,000 chance to drop dragon plate.. Just an exmaple but you get the point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Making the macro detection better, delete some random events or make them sparser. My friend has died to the evil chicken 3 times and happens to loose connection sometimes. Does this annoy him? Yes, but he still plays because runescape is a new experience. I gave him 480 bronze to smelt and it gave him like 4 smithing levels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why didn't I smelt it myself? Because smelting bars take considerably long for the exp, and the long time player would seem that its a waste of time. Or the long time player realises that smithing is basically a bought skill to get something like 70+ unless you were a miner/smither from the start of your playing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bringing better payment options around the world. I live in canada, but why dont we have pay by phone? And why does the 3 worlds for tronto are always full? Does jagex not realese this? And yet there is something like 20 worlds for london and one of them has 1500 people well the others have 1000 people? Now I know that there seems to be a lot more london players, but how do they not know its canadian players playing on these london servers? Something to take into consideration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And dont say that IP's say were we live. They do, but in no place is there something stateing that can they see were they live from our IP. (privacy policy)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Striaght dueling on F2P. With pretty basic rules, that are very straight forward. Giving F2P'ers a taste of dueling, esspecially of the PvP person. All they need is like, 5 rules.. No armour no prayer and no food, with staking would be perfect for F2P, and then P2P wont have to care as dueling for them still has more options.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The steps with updating cooking was good, I like baked patatoes. That was a pretty good update.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Making snare F2P. P2P has ancient magics that damage and BIND. Why not give f2p something little? Dont get me wrong, my pker is p2p, I am just speaking from experience because I have been and still have f2p Pkers.

Perhaps someone can make a text with the general ideas of this thread and ask who agrees with this. Afterwards you can put this text and the names of the ones who agreed to it on the rs forums (suggestions). This way this thread might have a use after all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ps. I like the themes Jagex tends to use lately, however they might want to spend 2 months only on that theme and add several updates ( rather only 1 or 2 quests and the rest mini-games or useful skill helping thingies). And in between each of these update blocks some general game updates for grafics for example.

 

 

 

But I don't like the sand them they have right now :roll:
