Stev
For quite some time I've not been able to access the Live Chat feature of the forums. I've tried in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox. Each time I get: Is this just me? Any ideas how I can resolve this? Apologies if this is the wrong subforum. >.<
JeRambo
The super smart computer user programmer expert needs help. ;D I'm getting the same error though. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones. Kimberly
Works fine for me. It will ask you if you want to block any 'unsafe elements' from being run. Doing so won't allow you to load the irc applet. You don't want to hit "Yes" on the popup, you want to hit "No". If you hit yes you'll block elements that need to be executed in order to successfully load the app. The application itself is safe so there's no harm in hitting "no". D. V. Devnull
Stev, unless you disable the verification checks via your Java Control Panel, you'll have to follow what Kimberly said. I know it's a pain to have to deal with, but that's your only options unless you can get the applet's original creator to release a better version for sites like Tip.It to use. :geek: ~D. V. And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
obfuscator
Occasionally, I've found that I've clicked cancel by accident or the box has even not appeared; but yes - I believe that exception will show up when the applet hasn't been permitted to execute its "unsafe" components.
