February 2, 201214 yr Which is faster, PPS with overloads and augury or Rapier with Overloads and turmoil? I will be slaying in Kuradal's dungeon. I have heard they can be cannoned at the Frozen Fortress works as well. I have always done this task with meelee in Kuradal's dungeon, it has been relatively fast but if there is a faster alternative I will consider it.

I am thinking with augury and FSH it would work even better, anyone have any experience. I could try it myself but I don't have any mage gear and will probably have to go buy ahrims to give it a try.

You could use Storm of Armadyl for great magic experience and that's definitely faster than melee (and faster mage xp than plank make/string amulet). Considering the staff itself about 15mil and the runes cost around 2k ea. Thanks for the replies. I have my answer Rapier > PPS until I can get SOA.
February 2, 201214 yr Augury doesn't increase Mage damage, just gives some accuracy boost. Once your accuracy is high enough it makes virtually no difference, and if your accuracy with mage is low enough that Augury DOES make a difference, chances are that's because whatever you're fighting has really high mage def and you probably shouldn't be maging it anyways. As for melee vs mage, I'd say go with whatever you want exp in more. Since you have maxed melees and only 96 mage, I'd say mage lol. Hell, if you had max mage AND melees, I'd tell you to look into ranging them. As for the Frozen Fortress, you lose out on the +40 damage per hit Kuradel's ring gives you but get cannon damage which gives range exp, just to remind you. Squab unleashes Megiddo! February 3, 201214 yr I'd say rapier+ovl+turmoil+spec recovs > soa even, yet I have no data to back that up. I take yak of p pots and 15 spec recovs for metal tasks. I'll time a few tasks today for soa vs rapier etc. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.

No amount of claw specs can beat that (Korasi's is better anyway). February 3, 201214 yr I tried korais after reading your post, and I rarely seem to hit over 400-500. I seem to hit higher specs with claws, yet I have no hard data on this. Yea it's cool to see the occosional 800, but d claws appear to be more accurate. I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.
