Xems
I'm trying to decide on the best method to gain attack and strength xp. Current stats: First I have to decide whether I want to ruin my tank or not, as I know that I can't ever go back if I decide to level combat. Anyways, what would be the best option to train attack and strength?
Dusk Souls
AFAIK Bandits in the Bandit Camps and Armored Zombies (after Defender of Varrock) are the best option for both, zombie monkeys under the Ape Atoll temple are also nice XP
HexiledRazz
Really tough call. Your stats are epic. But alas, you can't get a max cape with only 74 attack and strength =\ I heard that killing Vyrewatch with a maxed out Blisterwood polearm is actually the best experience now with void and such. However, this will need clarification from someone who has actually done it. The old standby Armoured Zombies will get you a lot of EXP/hr. Especially if you use overloads(Depends on how wealthy you are). Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
Quyneax
If you have maxed/nearly maxed gear as well or are willing to get it: Void melee, deflector, goliaths, chaotic rapier, salve (e), tokhaar (new cape thingy), berserker (i), steadfast boots. Kill the skeletons under Ape Atoll with a swamp titan (the best familiar that gives attack xp afaik, funnily the highest tier melee familiar trains defence which isn't really a melee skill). Until 80 attack you'll have to use a whip, get 80 attack, then strength to 90-95, then alternate both. Xems
Awesome, thanks Quy, although I don't think I can bring myself to ruin my tank anymore lol. Something I'll have to further consider :wall:
999134
I recently made the call to 'ruin' my tank, found the best way currently is too dh with overloads in ape atoll, doesn't require rapier either which is a plus. Found it is defiantly worth it to get att/str up. Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
