I think this is a good way to counter the millions of spambots we get everyday. When I join other forums I find "new member posting restrictions" a real pain.. Even 3 hours with an alert of temporary non-URL status for links might be overkill. Heck, this one has no idea how easy/hard it would be to implement a captcha to defeat spammers, but allow new users to bypass the time restriction if this kind of thing was put into effect. :-k BTW, even if this were to happen, it would have to wait until the pending forum upgrade was done. It would be in the same heap as some other suggestions/notes that this one has made. :geek: ~D. V. "24 hours = beyond overkill... Even if less, it's stuck on a queue anyway..."
