Incredibly confused player

So here is my problem, I have been away from this game for about a year or so, I decided to come back to the game. I re-logged in and everything and discovered my dragon plate was gone but most of my other items along with a few I dont remember getting were there.

So I am immediately mad and email Jagex in a vain attempt to get back my armor.

 

Then the real kicker comes, while looking at my level stats all my combat levels were level 99. I remember gettiing them up to level 80's, but no where near 99 for my combat levels.

 

At this point I dont know what happened, perhaps someone got a hold of my account and turned it into a pure for pk killing? Any advice or has anyone else experienced this before? I emailed jagex with all this above info.

 

Personally I would rather my levels be reset and my armor to be back, I would rather earn my levels. On the other hand, a 10 mill suit for level 99 combat levels is more then an even trade, but still feels cheap.

 

Any help? Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Make sure you change your password, recovery email and everything! If they had access to your account, they still do if you don't change anything.

Jagex don't refund items, and I doubt they will reset the levels for you. It's possible your account was used for Gold Farming at some point, does it have much exp past 99? :unsure:

Yeah I have like 18 mil exp in each one. Never heard of gold farming. I guess I should just count my blessings and move on?

But you are a very very lucly person, those levels are worth many hundred millions ;-) Enjoy it, there are many more skills left, that i think are much more meaningful, and perhaps they are easier to perform with your new levels?

yeah I mean I could just level at blue dragons really fast to get money, but still feels cheap. But yeah should be easier.

Make sure you change EVERYTHING that could be used to recover your account, password, email ,recoveries, add a bank pin if you don't already hav one. Also, count yourself lucky to have those stats! :P

Yeah, chances are you account has been living at Green/Blue dragons for quite some time. Jagex will never rollback an account (on request) or refund items.

 

As others have suggested, change absolutely everything you can regarding your account details. You don't want the hacker to return.

 

As there's nothing you can do about it, you may aswell just be glad for it, and make the most of the moneymaking methods available to those with high combat stats.

Considering how low all your other stats are in comparison I'd say yeah, kill dragons, start getting skills up, so on and so on.

I would suggest killing dragons while raising prayer, and summoning to useful levels for higher combat situations. Dragons are decent money, and you don't have access to the monsters that would be worth more gp/hr. Once you have higher prayer and such, then you can focus on other skills, or quests to unlock content. I'd count your blessings, as 18m xp in each combat stat takes a fair while.
