Auror
So I've planned to do Herblore at the BXPW. I got like 11k pots to do in 10 hours. According to some friends 1k-1,1k pots/h is easily doable, but I want to be faster. Does anybody know a video, where the fastest possible way to make potions (unf pot + 2nd ingredient) is shown? Thanks in Advance :)
Lord Paul
1k pots per hour is very slow. Maybe your friends meant 1k pots per half hour, since the max rate is 2122 potions per hour. As for a method, it's pretty simple: just train at Soul Wars bank since it is one click and you don't get randoms there. If you really wanted to, you could use mousekeys, but they really aren't a deal breaker. This video is pretty good:[spoiler=In case there is bad language...]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edm0o0GdOio Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Quyneax
Should be some 5 hours' worth of potion making. The fastest is banking with mousekeys, that's honestly the only way to speed it up, and make sure you bought a scroll of cleansing. Auror
Thank you very much guys :) But isn't it faster to use a familiar?
Lord Paul
Only for overloads, and even then using it is meh. Most people don't make a ton of overloads, so it doesn't save much time if you are only making 1k or so. Quyneax
Thank you very much guys :) But isn't it faster to use a familiar? When making overloads you put 28 torstol in a yak and withdraw 2 per inventory, so you can make 5 instead of 4 overloads per bank. Instead of making 15*4 = 60 overloads in 15 bankings, you can make 14*5 = 70 overloads in 15 bankings. But for other potions, you can't save time storing ingredients in your yak really. You could store 27 avantoe in a yak and withdraw 27 super attack (3) and combine them, withdrawing avantoe one by one, but it gives you 27 potions/2 bankings versus 28/2 without yak. Zaaps1
If you want to speed things up, I would definitely look into hotkeys/mousekeys. ~It's Super Effective! Aslan
Just a small tip. Put the 2nd first and the unf pot in the last 14 spaces of the inventory, so you don't accidentally drink a pot.
