February 8, 201313 yr Only post-update wins matter, though :P I saw my first boots at 566 wins, and the next pair only came at 607. I'd guess you just really rolled lucky to get it so much earlier than the accepted 500. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
