Binds

Featured Replies

Should i pick prom 2h or primal battleaxe? In which situations do both shine and in which do they show their flaws? Also assuming over 100 DG with a weapon hood and plate, which would be best to unbind for a hypothetical slayer drop(bn, hex)? Just some random questions that i've had some trouble finding the answers to.

Primal Baxe since you have turm unlocked

Primal battleaxe shines most on low defence things such as zombies which incidentally make up the most of the total killing you have to do. Things with low defence tend to have high health and vice versa, making the battleaxe all-round better than prom 2h. Primal 2h is better than both of course.

Personally I would unbind hood for bn/hex. Plate increases survival ability especially in faster floors. Imagine a celestial mage dehooding you in a 60 minute floor: no hood for 1/60th of the time. In a 10 minute floor, it's no hood for 1/10th of the time!

In cases before 100 would you recommend plate over hood? Bearing in mind i still have a decent amount of slayer left until primal so i would be stuck with prom.

Stick with a hood before 100 in my opinion.

Nope keep the hood, as it is a lot easier to get a plate when you hit 100. I agree with Quyneax though and I did it the same way, destroyed hood once I got my bneck.

PBA*

[bleep] OFF HOW ARE U SO [bleep]ING LUCKY U PIECE OF [bleep]ING SHIT [bleep] [bleep] [wagon] MUNCHER

A more complete answer is much more indepth. Personally, I'd definitely go with PBA over 2H, and several guides seem to agree on that. But, a "balanced" team (assuming not all 113+) will have a mix of PBA and Prom2H because - as stated - they do both have strong and weak points. Another key "positive" of the PBA is that it provides an easy switch to mage (and back) if you have a CSB bound (and also to a staff if obtained, for higher end spells).

I'd definitely go with the PBA.

I do have a CSB bound so that would make it seem that all things are favouring the battleaxe, after 99 attack i'll bind it and see how I like it. Thanks for all the help everybody.
