Arma Bstaff or Arma runes?

Featured Replies

I currently have 51 shards of armadyl and I don't know if I should keep saving for 49 more for a staff or grind them and make the runes. I'm looking for cash.

Currently Arma runes are crashing pretty hard and are worth about 15m (100 shards, 8k runes), whereas staff is worth 15.7m at the moment. But that may change by the time you reach 100 shards.

Mmm that might be true. Thank you for your advice.

Staff is generally better as many players don't have the patience to collect 100 shards before selling them as runes, making runes more convenient and thus increasing the supply.

This won't be true forever though, as there will be too many staves in the game as more are created, with almost 0 leaving the game, which greatly decreases the demand, while runes will be used and need to be replaced forever with a constant demand. (Which will go up or down depending on the relative usefulness of the spell, to other alternative, of course.)

Basic economics is fun!

If you don't need the money right now then you should save up 100. Once you have 100, then you should figure out the prices.
