DOM Tower

Hi all! I need some advice for getting my dom tower goals.

I havnt done too much dom tower yet, just a few fights here and there, but i decided i really should get me some nips and all the gloves.

I understand best way to get all the monsters required for the gloves is through endurance so what im looking for is a good set up for lasting maybe up to 50 or 60 floors.

 

I have basically everything available except ovl, turm (do have ss) and Chaotics ( <_< )

 

what i really need to know is what should my inv look like, what switches to bring, and what familiars. how many combat styles should i bring/need?

 

any other tips and/or advice is greatly appreciated.

 

p.s. also if anyone has a time estimate and how long it would take to get all the things i mentiond would be cool :thumbsup:

What do you mean by "have everything"?

 

I did endurance with an inventory consisting of

 

2 extreme pure sets

9 prayer potions

1 super anti-fire (elvarg)

Dragon claws for specs

8 brews and 4 super restores

 

I used void+deflector barrows gloves, Crapier, dragon boots, fury, berserker ring, ardy cape (3)

 

I also had turmoil and ss

 

I'd recommend using that until you hit a boss that uses up supplies (nomad) and then reset/restock

 

You should switch out Crapier for whip and probably use piety vs having soul split no turmoil.

Should take around 15 hours max to get Goliath gloves and nips along the way. Depends on luck with getting the required bosses (some people have gone 1 k bosses without seeing the do no evil monkeys).

Doing climber would be your best bet actually. I just did my last 400 boss kills that way. I'm at work, but Castle Wars (YT: Omustardo) has a great video on how to do it. He links a beginners guide (which is what I used) in the description I think.

 

I would strongly, strongly suggest that you get rapier and claws. Just choose handicaps that actually hurt you for extra DF as you'll probably have to leave whenever you get the crappy bosses like Zenevevia, 3 monkeys, Nomad, or Pest Queen. I think I usually did around 10 rounds before I recieved a bad boss that takes forever.

Of course climber is faster boss kills (for the 500 total) I just did endurance for the sake of not having handicaps against the hard ones (15+handicaps on do no evil monkeys sucks) and after I finished those bosses I went ahead and switched to climber.

Well yeah, that's why you skip that boss no matter what.

since i still have the monkeys, nomad and i think a few others i think i should stick to endurance. is there a way to check if uve beaten all class A, B, C, bosses so i know when i can switch over to climber. i aparently have like 200 kills there from randomly killing everyonce inawhile so nips arent all too far away but i have no idea which bosses i may or may not have killed already.

I had this same question last week, and I couldn't find the answer haha. I just messed around until I realized that you have to kill a boss before it is unlocked in freestyle. So you can check there. :thumbup:

If you use unicorn you can bring less brews. I used kyatt with ambush scrolls on all hard bosses.

I got over 500 kills before I ever saw the Decaying Avatar from Nomad's quest. That was before the updates and fixes though..

 

Also, if you open rewards and click on the gloves ones, it should display a chat message with the bosses you need left in order to unlock that pair. :)

It says the list of all the ones you need for the gloves, not which ones you have left.
