Fight Caves

It's been quite a while since I've done Fight Caves, and I haven't yet tried it since the release of Gano/Polypore. But I have a task and chose to try it again, so here we are. Is there really any major differences between Fight Caves with Gano vs. older methods? Excluding Jad here - I know there's major differences there (protect Range the entire time, or so I believe). I'm more referring to waves 1-62.

Setup:

Slayer Helm

Arcane Stream Necklace

Gano Top + Bottom

Ardy Cape 3

Polyporic Staff

Illuminated Unholy Book

Infinity Boots

Barrows Gloves

Tokkul-Zo Ring

Reverence

Is this a good setup? It's what I've been told to use by a friend but I'm seeking confirmation. Also, never used a Polyporic Staff before, so are the casts just charged into the staff beforehand, and no need for anything else?

Inventory would be helpful too. And Prayers - should I be staying on curses, or go back to regular prayers? Thanks anybody that can help =)

Not sure if this will answer all of your questions but here is a good guide of this technique:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3-6D6C4pho

The spells charges are indeed charged into the staff and there is no need for anything else.

The gear/inv in the video can be upgraded/downgraded depending on your stats and money.

The only real difference between ganodermic method and other methods is that ganodemic has much more mage defence so high levels do not need to change prayers (They stick with range and tank mage), However with your stats (I would assume your account is in your signature?) I would still advise you to prayer switch.

You will want to bring a cape.

I would honestly suggest normal prayers instead of curses so that you can use the 15% accuracy prayer. Leeches are pretty pitiful, and you don't need turmoil since you aren't meleeing.

Good setup, if you can, get an arcane spirit shield. Curses - use leech mage all the time (reduces Jad's max, or it should anyway). Bring enough magic boosting potions + Vecna's.
