LiL PvM
Hey guys. I was wondering how I should go about getting charms for 88-96 summoning, and what types of charms I should get. I was thinking about getting crimsons so I could make granite lobster pouches all the way to 96 as it would be fairly cheap, and I'm not all that rich at the moment. I'm also wondering what monsters I could kill, and how long I could expect to be there for. From 1-88 summoning I got all my charms from slayer, but not i've noticed it will take me months and months to accumulate enough charms to even get close to 96 summoning, so I decided to focus myself on charm hunting. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks :)

Hedgehog
Glakkers until 95, slay until 99. If you mean glacors, I haven't done Ritual of the Mahjarrat :(The obvious solution would be to do rotm, but whatever. I soppose you could camp waterfiends for 95 summ then finish the skill with slayer, but I doubt that would be efficient. Just slay the whole way. I never understand why people bother to mention that they haven't done a quest.

It's just I haven't been playing enough lately to get up to 270 quest points (currently at 237) to be able to do WGS, then ROTM.
Th e Doctor
Which is an excuse. Go do the quests. Edit Other charm options are cannoning kalphites in the do no evil lair, cannoning black demons, TD's, bursting/barraging rock lobsters, Bork every day (use a ring of wealth) and finally use joat, penguin points and troll invasion on it if you're desperately wanting those summoning levels. My personal favourite is the KBD for crimsons (each kill is ~2.4 crimson charms on average) and with my stats I average around 110 an hour plus 600 k profit. Powerfrog
Kill waterfeinds in the chaos tunnels. Do not make granite lobsters all the way to 96, make the highest level one you can make at all times and be sure to use your other charms, too.

Reinscorpion
I suggest Slayer, as the money you make of drops can (completely?) cover the cost of the shards and 2nds If you really want to focus on only getting the charms I suggest killing waterfiends or bursting rock lobsters if you want some nice magic xp. You could also skip all tasks except for: Abyssal demons (crimsons)Black demons (crimsons)Black dragons (KBD for crimsons, skip otherwise)Dark beasts (blues)Dust devils (crimsons)Ganodermic creatures (runts only (crimsons), skip otherwise)Gargoyles (blues)Greater demons (crimsons)Nechryaels (crimsons)Skeletal wyverns (crimsons)Waterfiends (crimsons)
Quyneax
Gargoyles have pretty sad charm rates, even if a large part of their charms are blue. You'd be much better off hunting mithril dragons instead. Suqah have decent slayer xp and also drop charms, and hellhounds, bloodveld, abberant spectres (also drop blues) and ice strykes are just too good to cancel.
