sportsjock215
Well I am wanting to get from 60-70 pretty much as cheap and fast as possible. I was thinking doing Teak larders, but I was not sure if this was a good way or not. I have not done construction in many years.
Guado
You can't place cheap and fast on the same sentence. Do you want fast, or do you want cheap? Or do you want a balance of them both? (Oak larders, don't know about fastest/cheapest for 60, but you can look into Mahogany Tables)
Saradomin_Mage
Teak larders aren't fast because you need cloth for them. Your best bet is either oak larders, which is a staple in construction training, or mahogany tables, a faster but more expensive option.Chances are someone will come around sometime and tell you the breakoff income at which the tables are better. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
Hedgehog
Mahogany tables become better than oak larders at an income of around 4m gp. Carved magic wardrobes are the best up to around 7.5m gp.
Platinum_Myr
According to grimy's spreadsheets, at around 3m/hr generated income it becomes more worth it to do mahogany tables due to time saved. At <1m/hr it is best to use oak logs and the lumberyard scroll to make your own planks. sportsjock215
Ok yeah sorry I just meant cheapest and fastest as in oak larders use alot of planks at the same time. I was wondering if using cloth for teak larders would slow i down a lot. I would say I am pretty poor relatively speaking. I have SC hammers to save money, but I if there are better options than I am welcome to suggestions.
vmser
Cheap and fast never really match, expecially not with construction. There's only the choice between really pricy and fast, or less pricy and slow. Cheap is not an option on this one.
