September 24, 201213 yr I haven't played RS in awhile now and have just decided to come back and don't really know the best way to make money so if someone could suggest some ways to me so I can get bandos armour. I would like to be training a skill preferably combat and I have 1m to spend on supplies etc. My Stats
September 24, 201213 yr You will take more damage and deal less damage with Bandos + chivalry than Verac's + piety. Bandos armour is literally the LEAST cost-effective way of increasing your power with the exception of steadfast boots.
September 24, 201213 yr go big or go home:get turmoil err.. I mean piety.. use prossy top/verac skirt if praying protect prayers or guthan(iirc cheapest barrows top) and verac skirt for money: farm herbs(toadflax/snapdragon)green dragons in the chaos tunnels(super/extreme attack/strength and a couple cheap food like tuna per trip)
September 24, 201213 yr Author I'm working on getting 70 prayer outside of money making atm I'm doing blue dragons in taverly dungeon and keeping all the bones for prayer and selling the hides. But I'm sure there must be better ways to make money I used to do green dragons but now wildy is back and the price of hide and bones has dropped I dont want to risk going in the wildy. My Stats
September 24, 201213 yr the chaos tunnels are like 2-4 level Wildy iirc.. just bring a varock teletab if you feel like you need to pray Mage(to help prevent teleblock) and tele if you see someone in Mage gear or bring a few pray pots and three only four items so you only drop a little bit of loot if you die to a pker
September 24, 201213 yr Author The tunnels I used to use were next to wildy volcano which is like lvl 20 wildy My Stats
September 25, 201213 yr You're BOTH doing it wrong. Varrock statue entrance is not only closest to green drags but also closest to a teleport (castle wars willow log balloon) AND is non-wildy.
September 25, 201213 yr BarrowsHerb runsDailies When you first get on, do your dailies (MTK, sand from bert, etc). After those are complete, plant herbs and then go do barrows. Use a timer to track herb growth (80 minutes I believe). Between herb runs, you can get about 7-8 barrows chests in at 85+ hp, magic, defence, etc. You get an item in about 1/16 chests on average. Based on what you farm, the luck you have at barrows, and the time you play, you could reach your goal in a few days to a week. Once you get 10m, you can try flipping items in the GE, although due ti the botnuke happening soon and EoC concerns, it is difficult to flip several items. There are many tutorials on the forums, Youtube, and here which will help you. [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]

September 25, 201213 yr This is not the best way to make money, but this is a tip that i've just come up with that I don't want to forget. When claiming your rewards from the Squeal of Fortune, pick one of the pieces of the Dragon Ceremonial clothes that you don't want, and always convert it to gold. It is worth 100k, and is fairly common considering... It's worth not having one piece of worthless clothing to keep a repeat 100k reward on the SoF -Ian Tip It's Stats: Slayer for Airuts, Mining for Rune, and Prayer for all 70+ skills

September 30, 201213 yr Get your farming up to 70, than farm snapdragons with magic secuatars at least, juju potions help immensly, i'm pulling in a huge amount of cash a day, about 5-7 mil just from this. although i'm not selling my snap's till i use them for herblore, if you sell just the snap's you make a lot of money, and if you sell them clean, they make more money for some reason.
September 30, 201213 yr For Juju potions you'll need to work on your hunter level and look into the herblore habitat minigame.
September 30, 201213 yr If you're not an efficiency freak and cannon everything/skip the profitable tasks, slayer especially at higher levels can be a nice moneymaker. Farming herbs and Manage Thy Kingdom are also great passive moneymakers that can be done while you use other methods. An excellent way of making money is doing barrows after having done the hard morytania tasks, that boosts the amount of runes you get from the chest, and if you do your runs correctly you can be making around 1m an hour without even getting any items.
