I tried to play on multiple browsers and the client but none are working I would post pictures but i dont know how to copy+paste screenshots into text box Help plz!
October 26, 201213 yr its the set up, I have been getting it on opengl, had to change to software. Only happened since halloweens update for me. Runescape nick : Fat_SlugOwner of Ears, Scythe and a 10 year veteran cape :D
October 26, 201213 yr I had this problem, where the playing screen was fine, but the text was all messed up and illegible. All the inventories screen and the chat box and the map was distorted. I manage to sort this out by completely logging out of the game, (i'm using the client), and told the graphic setting to re-run auto-set up. once i had done that it had fixed itself but i had to play in fixed mode. I think it may be a problem with either openX or the other graphic setting. [spoiler=Sig] I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.
October 26, 201213 yr I recommend you first clear your cache for RS, if you use the client - un-install then re-install it. I would then try loading on different GFX settings, as stated above software may solve this issue. If you are a DX user, try OpenGL and vise verca. Feel free to PM me.
October 26, 201213 yr I had a very similar problem. From the lobby, try switching to Open Gl, and lower all the graphics settings to minimum, then log in. That fixed it for me. October 26, 201213 yr Author I know absolutely nothing about computers. Someone want to explain what Open Gl is for me? Thanks for all the responses!
October 26, 201213 yr In the graphics settings on runescape, go to custom (logged into the actual game) and you will see "display mode" there will be 3 options in boxes. 1: Software, 2:OpenGL, 3: DirectX, select software and see if this changes anything, if it does not go back to the first graphic option screen and click "RE-RUN AUTO SETUP" that should fix it, it did for me. Hope this helped :) Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!
October 26, 201213 yr Author thanks guys! I went to change the settings but it kinda just fixed itself o.O
