Over the BXPW I hit 99 summoning and would like a pet dragon. Today I tried to camp blue dragons but the amount of bots make it impossible to get decent amount of kills/hr. I don't really care which egg I get I just want one. So I have a few questions:

 

 

What is the drop rate of the dragon egg?

 

 

Can someone recommend a good place to camp for one that isn't completely infested with bots?

As far as I know, Dragon eggs are a somewhat rare drop, but shouldn't take too long to get one.

 

Unfortunately, everywhere on normal (english) servers are infested.

However, as I'm led to believe bots don't actually work on foreign worlds- so your best bet to try and get one would be to log on to a foreign world.

I've heard 1/100 (maybe I just imagined it, but it isn't anything too rare) and I had about that level of success overall.

 

I got my black egg on my third kill, my blue in under 100 kills, and my red/green in a couple of hundred each.

My room mate got his in the first 10 dragon kills after 99 summoning yesterday. Just get a Blue Dragon assignment from Kura, and you should be good to go.

I also had been under the impression that its around 1/100

I usually get at least one every other black dragon task iirc.

I should go and get a Black Dragon pet :)

Black should be the easiest, most people get it within their first kills. Red and blue are usually within the hundreds, but shouldn't take more than 200 kills (didn't take me that much for each). Now green... ya, that's the rarest, I'm guessing because of the combat level of the green dragons, took me about 700 kills and that was lucky, I know people who went as far as thousands, good luck.

I'd say just wait to get blue dragons from kura, competing with bots is not fun at all.
